Sneak Peek of the Tarte Maneater Collection

Tarte will be releasing a brand new collection this holiday season called Maneater. They had actually debuted the Maneater Mascara on QVC earlier this fall in a duo (they were offering two full sizes for $28), but it has since sold out.

The new collection will include three products:

1. Maneater Voluptuous Mascara $23- Promises a 23x increase in lash volume after 2 coats with a jojoba-infused formula. It'll be available on the Tarte Website on November 27th (this coming Sunday!). Here's hoping it'll be included in the 25% off sale!
2. Self-Sharpening Liner $20- The formula is poured as a liquid and then solidifies into a thin pencil with a self-sharpening cap and precision point. Safe for the waterline. Will be available December 4th on the Tarte website. 
3. Maneater Eyeshadow Palette $29- This palette includes 7 eyeshadows (3 matte, 2 satin, 2 shimmer) and 1 highlighter. It's going to be available on the Tarte website on December 28th.

Everything here will also be available at Ulta but I don't have the date for that yet...I'll update this post when I find out more!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection Update

The Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection is finally almost here! I have some updates for you as far as when (and where) the new products are launching:

1. Sweet Peach Glow Kit Highlighting Palette $42
2. Sweet Peach Creamy Lip Oil in 8 Shades $19
3. Papa Don't Peach Blush $30
4. Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette $49

Everything is launching at Sephora.com on December 15th with the exception of the eyeshadow palette which is launching on December 26th. The collection will be at Sephora stores on January 6th.

I'm so excited for this collection...I missed out on the eyeshadow palette the first time! Actually I stayed up late to get it and got through on the site before it crashed but then I hesitated and thought, "I don't really need this" and went to sleep, thinking that I might change my mind when I woke up. By the morning it was sold out and then I was kicking myself.

Sneak Peek at the Maybelline Spring 2017 Collection

The Maybelline Spring 2017 Collection has just arrived on Amazon.com (shipping in 2-5 weeks)  so we're finally able to get a closer look at all of the new products! I'm really excited to try everything, especially the lip and cheek products. I'm still wary of Maybelline's eyeshadows but I'm hoping they've been reformulated. I actualluy saw a comment on their Snapchat a few weeks ago that said they'll be reformulating their existing eyeshadow palettes, so fingers crossed!

MORE Maybelline Sneak Peeks!

The Maybelline Spring 2017 sneak peeks just keep coming and for me, these are even more exciting than yesterday's products.

First things first...they're launching a Baby Lips Crayon! According to the Snap I watched (and got these screenshots from) these are supposed to be highly pigmented lip balms. I saw them put one on a model (in the photos above) and they really seem to lay down a ton of color and shine. I can't wait for these to arrive! Also, I don't know if they come in just these three shades or if the range will be larger.

Next up is the Colossal Big Shot Mascara. This one also looked promising as they were putting it on the model...I'm not sure if she already had nice lashes to begin with, but it really seemed to give her lashes a ton of length and volume. I've had pretty good luck with the Colossal formulas in the past so I'm excited for this one! 

Finally, I posted about the new Dream Cushion Compact back in September but I figured this round-up of the Spring line wouldn't be complete without mentioning it. L'oreal and Physicians Formula have already brought cushion foundations to the drugstore earlier this year, so this isn't new at this point, but I'm hoping it'll be worth the wait!

Maybelline Spring 2017 Sneak Peeks

Maybelline just posted some sneak peeks to their Snapchat account of the new Spring 2017 line and I took a few screenshots to share with you! Even though the official launch is in January, we will likely see these hit the drugstores in late November or December, so definitely keep an eye out for these!

First, in the photo above, you'll see some new shades of the Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick. I spot orange, gray, navy, bright purple, pinky nude, and bronze shades...definitely some "non-traditional" colors this time around!

Wet n Wild Spring 2017 Sneak Peeks

Wet n Wild just shared some sneak peeks of their Spring 2017 collection on Snapchat, and there is some really exciting stuff here! Everything launches in January in drugstores and on their website (the drugstores will likely put it out sooner) so I'll start posting sightings here and on my Instagram page as soon as the products start showing up.

MORE Fall/Holiday 2016 Makeup Sneak Peeks!

I have a bunch more sneek peeks for you guys of new Fall products, as well as some that are launching around the holidays. First up (above photo) we finally get to see inside the Too Faced Papa Don't Peach packaging! It looks like a beautiful peachy blush with shimmer and I bet it smells like peaches too! 

Also from Too Faced, a peek at one of three palettes in the Grande Hotel Cafe set, which is part of the Christmas in New York collection. The palette shown in the photo is Peppermint Mocha, but there are two more above it...Gingerbread Cookie and Eggnog Latte. Plus, there's a Better Than Sex mascara that goes along with it. Wouldn't that be amazing if the eyeshadows smelled like the name of each palette? :) 

The next sneak peek I have is from Maybelline. It looks like they're releasing a color correcting kit called (I'm guessing) Master Camo. I don't know what the release date is yet, but a lot of fall collections are dropping in September so we might be seeing this pop up at drugstores very soon! 

Next, here's a sneak peek of the Urban Decay Holiday 2016 collection. There are new products and also throwbacks like those Vintage lipsticks! Of course the all-matte Naked Ultimate Basics palette is front and center, along with Vice Lipstick palettes, false lashes, Illuminated Trio Palette, and Liquid Moondust eyeshadows.

Here's another look at the Tarte Color Wheel blush palette. It contains 10 full-sized blushes and they're all brand new shades (a few of them look like highlighters!).  I first posted about this in my original Holiday Sneak Peek post (you can view that here).

Coming soon from City Color Cosmetics is the new Boho Chic palette (launching 9/1/16 for $15.99). It contains 12 brand new earthy shades, and I'll be swatching it for you soon, ahead of the release date, so stay tuned for that! 

Finally, Wet n Wild posted a sneak peek on Snapchat that looks shimmery enough to be a highlighter but it's hard to tell since it's black and white. I'm hoping it is, since their previous highlighters were so amazing (and are so hard to find!).

Sneak Peek of the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette

I'm doing a happy dance right now...Urban Decay is launching an all-matte full-sized palette on September 18th! The Naked Ultimate Basics will be $55 and contain 12 all-new, all-matte shades in beautiful, wearable shades. The brand created it in response to tons of requests on social media from fans begging for an all-matte eyeshadow palette and more Naked options.

It comes in square packaging which is different from their regular rectangular palettes (but reminds me of the Naked On-the-Run palette).

All of the shades are true mattes with the exception of Blow, which is a demi-matte for highlighting.

Sneak Peek of the Elf High Shine Liquid Lipsticks

Elf Cosmetics posted a sneak peek of their new High Shine Liquid Lipsticks on Snapchat the other night, complete with swatches and I'm drooling over these shades...they look gorgeous! Not to mention, I'm a big fan of glossy lips vs. matte (glossy finish= anti-aging and makes them look larger and smoother).

TONS of Sephora/Ulta Holiday 2016 Sneak Peeks!

 Yesterday, Sephora and Ulta held their Holiday preview events and I was able to get lots of screenshots from Milly Almodovar Thompson (beautylogicblog on Snapchat and @beautylogicblog on Instagram). I've been following her for a long time now and she always has the best sneak peeks (if you love seeing what's new, definitely follow her!). All photos in this post are from beautylogicblog on Snapchat or @beautylogicblog on Instagram.

I wanted to quickly preface this post by saying I don't have any release dates yet for any of the products you'll see here...but since they're holiday sets, they'll likely be out in the fall (late Sept.-October). I've organized everything by brand and some things are exclusive to Sephora while others are exclusive to Ulta. Ok, so let's get started! 

Tarte Cosmetics

There are some really exciting sets from Tarte launching this year, like this Pretty Paintbox Palette ($59) which will be exclusive to Sephora. 

It contains 24 eyeshadows...

On the other side of the palette, there's a blush, highlighter, bronzer, and contour shade (I'm taking a guess there), and then in a separate compartment, you'll find the Tartiest mascara, Lip Paint, and an eyeliner.

Here, we have the Tarte Tartiest Paint Palette, which will be exclusive to Ulta Beauty. It also has 24 eyeshadows, plus a blush, highlighter, and bronzer, Tartiest Mascara and Lip Paint. I don't have a price on this one, but it contains one less cheek product and is missing the eyeliner from the other kit, so my guess is that it'll be a little bit less than the Sephora set.

OK...I'm dying over this one! It's the Tarte Color Wheel Amazonian Blush Palette. Remember the Big Blush Book Tarte released last year that sold out in record time? This is reminding me of that except it has completely different shades in it (and that's not a mirror...it has blushes on both sides for a total of 10). I was lucky enough to get one of the Big Blush Books, which was filled with all of their core blush shades, but I don't have any of these new ones in my collection (plus some of them look like highlighters). So yes...I am totally getting this when it comes out!

Too Faced

Too Faced Christmas in New York Collection Chocolate Shop will be $58 and exclusive to Sephora. It smells like chocolate and has eyeshadows, blushes, Shadow Insurance, Better Than Sex Mascara, and Melted Chocolate Lipstick (not sure of the shade).

The Christmas in New York Merry Macaroons Palette ($39) smells like vanilla and contains 12 eyeshadows and a Better Than Sex mascara.

NYX Cosmetics

Out of all the sneak peeks I reposted on Instagram, this one is getting the most attention! NYX is launching two gift sets at Ulta...The Liquid Suede Set contains all 24 shades for $49.  This set is the entire Liquid Suede collection and it's a total steal since they're $7 a piece (buying them individually would cost $168).

Next, we have the Soft Matte Lip Cream Vault. It contains 36 shades for $64 (individually it would cost $216, so this is also a major steal! I believe there are only 34 shades currently so this set may include two previously unreleased colors.

Lorac

Lorac is releasing a blush palette called Cue The Confetti at Ulta (not sure if it's exclusive yet) and it'll be $30. From what I can make out, these appear to be the Color Source blushes (I can see Tinge, Technicolor, and Vivid but can't make out the top left shade). If these are the Color Source formula, I will definitely pick this up because I love them (see my review here).

Urban Decay

The Urban Decay Junkie Vice Lip Palette ($35) will be at Sephora and includes 12 Vice lipsticks in matte and shimmer finishes.

Kat Von D

The Kat Von D MetalMatte Eyeshadow Palette ($60) will be at Sephora and includes 9 metallic shadows and 13 mattes. Also on Snapchat (I wasn't able to get a screen grab) Milly showed that the front of the palette has the word Matte on in and when you turn it upside-down, it says Metal...very cool.

Also at Sephora, Kat Von D will be releasing a mini Everlasting lipstick set. It has 6 existing shades plus two new ones (that Milly wasn't able to swatch yet). Here, she swatched five colors...L.U.V., Echo, Sante Sangria, Backstage Bambi, and Lovestruck.

These new Studded Kiss Limited Edition Lipsticks ($21) are shades that were previously in liquid lipstick form... Mother, Double Dare, and Lolita 2.

Bobbi Brown

Launching at Sephora is the Bobbi Brown Bobbi To Glow Shimmer Brick Palette ($69).

Look at this adorable blush palette from Sephora! I'm not sure of the price yet but Sephora collection is always pretty reasonable.

Hourglass

I remember the hype over last year's Hourglass palette and then the disappointment at the size of the pans for $80...it just didn't make sense for a lot of people who already owned the shades in larger sizes. But this year's Surreal Light Palette ($80) has all new limited edition shades which might make the splurge worth it for a lot of people. Plus the marble packaging is just beautiful! 

The new shades are: Surreal Light, Surreal Glow, Surreal Effect, Surreal Bronze, Surreal Strobe Light.

It Cosmetics

If you love IT Cosmetics brushes like I do, you'll want this City Chic set, which features five brushes for $68 ($150 value).

Marc Jacobs Beauty 

The About Last Night Palette contains 20 plush eyeshadows (and a huge mirror) for $99.

The Object of Desire Palette ($69) contains six eyeshadows, blush, bronzer, and highlighter.

Sneak Peek! Laura Geller Easy Illuminating Stick + Swatches

If you're a fan of Laura Geller's Gelato Swirl Illuminators, get ready because they're launching soon in cream form! The Easy Illuminating Stick will come in three colors... the famous Gilded Honey shade, as well as Ballerina and Ethereal.

They claim to be long-wearing and oil-free with light-reflecting optics. As a person with dry skin, I absolutely love a cream highlighter! They're so easy to use...just swipe and blend- totally my kind of product.

I was able to capture some swatches on Snapchat of all three shades. The photos are a little bit grainy but you can still see the colors.

Urban Decay Fall 2016 Sneak Peek

Urban Decay is launching some awesome new products for Fall 2016! I posted a sneak peek of the new Moondust Palette ($49 out July 10) on Instagram last week but today I was excited to find out what else they have in store for us.

The All-Nighter Liquid Foundation ($40) is full coverage, waterproof, oil-free and contains 3x the pigment of the Naked Skin foundation!

They're also launching Razor Sharp Water-Resistant Longwear Liquid Eyeliner ($22). They come in 20 shades and have a teeny tiny brush to help you get a super thin, precise line.

Finally, there's a new addition to the Perversion family, the Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen ($20). Apparently, the tip is always saturated with color (so no more skips or fading) via a cartridge system and a spring-loaded cap keeps it from drying out.
