Urban Decay has just launched a new line of primers and setting sprays and it's available now at Belk.com (a department store in the Southern U.S.). They range from $31-$34 each and include the original All-Nighter, B6, and De-Slick setting sprays in new, updated packaging plus several brand new primers!
Here's a quick description of the 5 new primers:
1. Optical Illusion- Instantly blur flaws, smooth the skin and reduce fine lines, making pores seem to vanish.
2. Bright & Tight- Gives you brighter and tighter skin
3. De-Slick- Oil absorbing primer to control shine and also help makeup to go on better and last all day.
4. Self-Adjusting- Has a color correcting formula with encapsulated pigments that actually adjust to your skin tone.
5. Urban Defense - A completely clear sunscreen
Plus there's a primer spray called Quick Fix Hydra-Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray. It claims to hydrate and soothe while visibly reducing the appearance of pores and brightening the skin.
These haven't launched yet at Sephora, Ulta or even Urban Decay's website yet so if you want to try one of these first, head on over to Belk.com!

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette Review & Swatches
September 15, 2016
13 comments
So definitely check your local Macy's first...you might get lucky because I've talked to quite a few people from different areas of the country saying that they were able to find it. But if not, the official release dates are as follows:
- UrbanDecay.com on September 18th
- Sephora.com/Ulta.com/Macys.com September 20
- In Sephora, Ulta, Macy's stores September 22
Before we even get into the shadows themselves, can we just talk about how beautiful the packaging is for a minute?! It's gold and shiny and has an ethereal starburst pattern that's raised to give it some texture. It's also a square, which is different from the rectangular packaging Urban Decay has become known for (with the exception of the Naked on the Run palette...remember that one?).
Inside, there's a really nice, large, high-quality mirror that you can easily do your makeup in. Also included is a double-ended brush which I'm not really too impressed with. The smaller end is great...it's an awesome smudger brush that you can get right up to your lashline with, but the larger end is kind of stiff and is a weird shape. It's on the longer side like a blending brush, but the flat shape doesn't really allow you to blend with it. It's shaped sort of like a lid brush, but those are usually a little shorter. I don't know...I'm just not a fan. Also, in case you're wondering, the palette is made in the USA and the brush is made in China.
Inside are twelve matte shades...well almost, because there is one shade, Blow (light nude demi-matte) that has a slight sheen to it.There is a nice mix of both warm and cool-toned neutrals in here with the top row being on the cooler side with pinky nudes, gray, and purples and the bottom row leaning more warm with pale yellow, burnt orange, warm browns, charcoal, and black.
Swatching this palette, I found all of the shades to be creamy and soft. They are densely packed so there isn't a lot of fallout, and I find that they blend really nicely on my eyes when using a brush. My only complaint with the top row is that the shades aren't as rich as I thought they would be...especially Commando, Tempted, and Instinct (I had to swatch them a few times as opposed to the other shades that were swatched once. They appear more muted on my skin and although they do show up on me because I'm fair skinned, they might disappear on medium to deeper skin tones.
- Blow- Light nude demi matte
- Nudie- Soft pink-nude matte
- Commando- Light taupe brown matte
- Tempted- Pale brown matte
- Instinct- Medium pink taupe matte
- Lethal- Reddish brown matte
The shades in the bottom row are rich, pigmented and beautiful. They all show up easily with one swipe (and no primer underneath). I was especially impressed with Extra Bitter, the burnt orange shade...it's super intense, just as I was hoping it would be.
- Pre-Game- Pale yellow matte
- Extra Bitter- Burnt orange matte
- Faith- Medium warm brown matte
- Lockout- Rich neutral brown matte
- Magnet- Smoky gray matte
- Blackjack- Warm black matte
Overall, this is a solid offering from Urban Decay, and matte eyeshadow lovers will most likely love it from the beautiful packaging to the creamy, pigmented formula! If you have a medium to deep skin tone, you might be disappointed with the color payoff a few of the shadows in the top row, but the bottom row definitely makes up for that a bit.
Grab yours on September 18th at Urbandecay.com and on September 20th at Ulta.com, Sephora.com.

Sneak Peek of the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette
August 15, 2016

I'm doing a happy dance right now...Urban Decay is launching an all-matte full-sized palette on September 18th! The Naked Ultimate Basics will be $55 and contain 12 all-new, all-matte shades in beautiful, wearable shades. The brand created it in response to tons of requests on social media from fans begging for an all-matte eyeshadow palette and more Naked options.
It comes in square packaging which is different from their regular rectangular palettes (but reminds me of the Naked On-the-Run palette).
All of the shades are true mattes with the exception of Blow, which is a demi-matte for highlighting.
What do you think of the new Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette? Will you be purchasing it next month when it launches?

The packaging is really cool, although probably not the most practical. The palette looks kind of bulky and has a pull-out drawer, but look how cute it is! The mirror is a replica of the Looking Glass itself, surrounded with clocks. Above the drawer is the quote,
"I'm not strange, weird, off, nor crazy, my reality is just different from yours."
The shades look very wearable for the most part, with a few brights thrown into the mix.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush Palette Review
January 30, 2016
6 comments
I still had some money left on the Sephora gift card my husband got me for my birthday, and as soon as I saw the Gwen Stefani Blush Palette ($45 at Sephora.com) from Urban Decay, I knew that's what I was going to spend it on. I've been a Gwen Stefani fangirl since No Doubt first came out in the '90's and I'm still obsessed with Tragic Kingdom (it never gets old). But I have also admired how flawless she always looks, so having the opportunity to own products that she created together with one of my favorite makeup brands is kind of a no-brainer for me. So keep on reading to see my full review and swatches of this gorgeous palette!
Sneak Peek of the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette

I just saw this on Instagram and couldn't wait to share...Urban Decay is releasing another Gwen Stefani palette, and this time it's blush. I'm a total blush junkie and can not resist them especially in palette form. No word on a launch date just yet, but it's being released for Spring 2016, so hopefully soon! A lot of new products tend to hit Sephora on 12/26 every year so I'm hoping it's then! All I can say is #flymoneyfly.

New Lip Products for Fall 2015
August 2, 2015

The Fall 2015 makeup collections have been hitting the stores the past several weeks and there are some exciting new lip products that have just been released from Bite Beauty, Urban Decay, Pur Minerals and Buxom. Let's take a look...
Bite Beauty Opal Creme Lip Gloss ($22) adds a pearlescent ultraviolet cast to bare lips or any lip color. I just picked this up the other day and I'm already obsessed with the color. It adds a perfect glow with a touch of violet, pink or blue depending on the angle. I've been wearing it by itself but I want to test it over other lip products to see how it enhances/changes them before I post a full review. Also, I want to mention that there's an Opal lipstick as well if you prefer that formula to a gloss.
Buxom Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick ($22) has a lightweight gel formula that delivers high-pigment, one stroke color. It also comes in an unbelieveable 30 shades! They also come in both satin and matte finishes. I really like all of the Buxom products I've tried so far, so I'm looking forward to these. Also, the packaging looks very Kat Von D, doesn't it?? Right now, they're only available at Sephora if you're a VIB or VIB Rouge, but give it a little while and I'm sure they'll be available in stores shortly.
Urban Decay Matte Revolution ($22) is a matte lipstick that (finally) doesn't dry out your lips! Urban Decay claims that it feels as rich and buttery as the original Revolution formula and it comes in never-before-seen shades. I haven't been on board with the matte lipstick trend so far because I have perpetually dry lips, but I'm really excited to try these in the hopes that it'll be the first one that's truly comfortable to wear!
Pur Minerals Lip Lure ($24) is a rich, saturated lacquer that gives full coverage, high shine color in one swipe. They also have a unique flocked "showerhead" applicator that delivers the perfect amount of color every time.
So there you have it...four new lip products for Fall. Have you tried any of these yet, or are you planning on picking any of these up? I'd love to hear about it!

Urban Decay Enigma Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($20) is a brand new limited edition shade for Spring 2015. I've been using it for a while now and wanted to review it for you guys and also tell you a little bit about the cause behind it...let's take a look!
Mini Sephora Haul

The other day I went to Sephora to spend my Shopkick gift cards. I had earned a $25 one and a $10 one using the app every chance I get.
You can get all the details about Shopkick on my Favorite Beauty Deal Sites page. You can earn virtual gift cards on your phone for doing simple tasks like walking into stores, scanning items with your phone, and making purchases.
This is what they look like...you can use them online or give your phone to the cashier in-store (I'm not going to blur out the numbers since they don't have a balance anymore).
Anyway, I had $35 to spend and I went a little over but I still made out great!
I purchased the Urban Decay Brightening and Tightening Complexion Primer Potion ($31). So far I love it! It makes my skin sooo smooth.
Next, I bought Tarte's new Park Ave Princess shade of their Amazonian Butter Lipstick ($17). It's a new shade for Spring 2015 and I'll be reviewing it very soon.
Finally, because I had 500 VIB Rouge points saved up, I got a Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil Set for free. It has shampoo, conditioner, primer spray, and the oil.
I ended up taking all of this home for $13...not bad at all!
Have you hauled any beauty products lately? Or saved money doing it? I'd love to hear about it...please drop me a comment below! :)

Urban Decay Summer Nights Launches Today!

The new Urban Decay Summer 2015 Collection launches at Urbandecay.com today and it includes new Revolution High Color Lipgloss, Afterglow 8-Hour Blush, and a Revamped Primer Potion. Let's take a look...
Revolution High-Color Lipgloss ($22) comes in 14 shades and claims to have "insanely intense color with badass shine". It comes in both cream and sparkle textures in a wide range of shades, so there's something for everyone.
Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush ($26) is lightweight and luxurious with a creamy, extremely blendable, fine-milled texture that blends beautifully. It claims to provide 8 hours of streak-free, wearable color and comes in 12 shades...some matte and some with a hint of shimmer.
The Urban Decay Primer Potion ($20) has been revamped both in packaging and formula. It claims to still give 24-hour crease-free wear with space-age polymer technology that fills in any imperfections on the skin's surface. It now features an applicator to make applying it a bit easier, and a pretty, updated tube with an ombre effect and jeweled cap.
They still offer the Original shade, as well as Eden, but Sin has been swapped out for Minor Sin, a sheerer version of Sin that they reworked based on customer feedback.
So, what do you think? Are you happy that the beloved Primer Potion has changed? Excited about the Revolution Lipgloss, Afterglow Blush, or new shadows?

Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick Swatches and Review
February 16, 2015

I just got my hands on four of the brand new Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipsticks ($22, Sephora) and I am crazy about these already! These are a sheerer version of the original Revolution Lipstick, but they're not as sheer as you would think. They still have quite a bit of pigmentation, but they're a bit softer and more casual...the perfect compliment to their Naked products! Let's take a look...
I chose four shades I thought I would be most likely to wear: Liar- Sheer Pinky-Brown Nude
Rapture- Sheer Dusty Rose
Ladyflower- Sheer Rose Pink
Streak- Sheer Coral Pink
The tubes are very similar to the original Revolution lipsticks, except they're metallic purple. They're nice and heavyweight and feel very luxurious and high-end.
