You've probably heard that Urban Decay is set to launch an
Alice Through the Looking Glass collection next month to coincide with the movie release, and today I have swatches I wanted to share with you! Thanks to beautylogicblog on Snapchat who swatched all of these shades (if you're not following her, you're missing out on so many amazing sneak peeks).
The packaging is really cool, although probably not the most practical. The palette looks kind of bulky and has a pull-out drawer, but look how cute it is! The mirror is a replica of the Looking Glass itself, surrounded with clocks. Above the drawer is the quote,
"I'm not strange, weird, off, nor crazy, my reality is just different from yours."
The shades look very wearable for the most part, with a few brights thrown into the mix.

The style of the tubes look just like the ones from the Gwen Stefani collection (with different artwork of course). Here, you can see a nude shade and a deep burgundy shade.

In this shot, there's a berry pink shade, a violet shade, and a navy blue shade. She hasn't swatched them yet, but as soon as I get swatches, I'll be sure to share them with you!

ReplyDeleteDo you know if the eyeshadows are new colors? I don't own the first Alice book of shadows, but I believe it had existing UD shades that were renamed to fit the Alice theme. I'd buy this anyway, for the packaging (I collect Alice stuff & my makeup room is Alice themed), but I'm curious.
Hmm...that I'm not sure of! It would be awesome if they were all new (or mostly new) shades. :)
DeleteInteresting. I'm pretty sure that quote is taken from the movie, and doesn't appear in the book (despite the many random internet sites attributing it to Carroll...)
