Yesterday I just happened to spot a new Wet n' Wild display way down on a bottom shelf when I was at Walgreens and it had the Geometric Highlighting Powders in it! I've been on the hunt for them ever since Wet n' Wild posted a sneak peek on Instagram a while back, so I was really excited and surprised to see them. Let's take a closer look...
The Geometric Highlighting Powders ($4.99) come in three shades and are limited edition. There's a warmer, bronzy shade called Sun Ceremony, a pinky peach shade called Desert Explorations, and a pastel shade (very Pantone 2016!) called Where The Dreamers Go.There are also three new Megaliner Liquid Liners in pastel shades. There was no price listed on these so I'm not 100% sure how much they are...I'm assuming $2.69 which is the regular price of them at Walgreens.
Finally, there are two new Coloricon Eyeshadow Trios in pastel shades. These are also limited edition and I'm taking a guess that they're $2.69 like the permanent ones are.
I ended up buying all three highlighting powders, so look for a review of those coming soon! :) Have you seen this display yet? Or tried any of these new limited editons?
I saw them yesterday! I have so many highlighters but that first one in the display is calling my name. Temptalia already reviewed them
ReplyDeleteAwesome, I'll have to check out her review! :)
DeleteOmg a drugstore liquid liner in white! This is so exciting! I've never seen this before--can't wait to try it out. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen a white liquid liner before...that should be interesting! :)
DeleteThe highlighters look worth a try but nothing else for me. I personally think pastel makeup looks so 80s.
ReplyDeleteThey're the only thing I bought from this collection so far. I don't think pastels look good on me but I have a feeling we'll be seeing them everywhere since Pantone's Colors of the year are pastels. :)
DeleteLove the looks of the highlighting powders. The shadows are pretty, too.
ReplyDeleteThe highlighters are very subtle from what I've tried so far. They don't have a lot of shimmer to them.
DeleteI managed to snag everything except The New Romantics trio. My favorite cashier at Walgreen's steered me to the display as soon as she saw me.
DeleteI bought both of the eyeshadows today and they were $2.99 each at my local Walgreens. That's the standard price for the 3 pans in my area (buffalo,ny area)
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks for letting me know! I just went by the price at Walgreens.com...it's interesting that they're different prices online and in stores!
DeleteI found them earlier tonight and got ALL the highlighters and shadows... I'm thinking I'll use the shadows along with others I have.
ReplyDeleteWow awesome! You'll have to let me know how you like everything! :)
DeleteI cant wait to get those!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you find them soon! :)
DeleteI got the Sun Ceremony highlighter-it looks warmer in the pan, but it's a cool champagne beige gold sheen, pretty if you like your highlighters on the subtle side (Katherine T.)
ReplyDeleteI found that too...I thought it was going to be bronzy but it goes on really golden. :)
DeleteThis is So Exciting, really awesome collections,i like it very useful for us,thanks ..
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome! :)
DeleteThey look like the new Pantone colors of the year.
ReplyDeleteI want simply everything from this. However since it says LE I won't even bother to look for them.Thet LE never shows up where I live. Why must WNW do this????
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this but I found both the makeup and the nail polish today at Walgreen's. I never found the LE before and I decided not to look for them. Go figure huh?! I am willing bet the polish is renamed bottles from Venice Beach of last Sept. If not close enough to not need them. Picked up 2 highlighters and the blue and white liners! I am excited!
DeleteThis is so Exciting, really awesome collection
