Review:

I was so happy to hear that Soap & Glory cosmetics were finally arriving stateside, and I was even happier when a box of Soap & Glory goodies arrived at my door a few weeks ago! I've been a huge fan of their bath & body products for years now so I had a really good feeling about their makeup line.
The first product in the box that caught my attention was the Peach Party Juicy Multi-Color Blush Brick ($15).

It comes in a round plastic compact with a cute retro design. Inside, there's a mirror and a beautiful, shimmering wheel with shades of peachy-pink, gold, champagne, and copper. The individual shades are too small to use on their own with a blush brush, but the darker copper shades that help to create a deeper color are placed far apart so you can dip your brush in the lighter shades on the sides of the compact if you want more of a highlight.

These shades are highly pigmented and you pick up a lot of product on your brush with very little effort and practically no fallout. It feels so finely milled that even though there's quite a bit of shimmer in this formula, it never feels gritty...it's just really smooth and blendable.

When all the shades are swirled together, you get a beautiful apricot shade that makes your cheeks look all glowy and warms up your complexion. The shimmer leaves more of a pearly finish rather than a glittery one, so no worries about looking like a disco ball.

I love using Peach Party as a blush on my fair skin, but I think it would make a stunning highlight on deeper skin tones! It's just a super pretty, summery shade that works perfectly with a peachy pink lip and mascara on days when I want to look pulled together but not "made up".

On the downside, if you have visible pores on your cheeks, the shimmer in Peach Party may make them a bit more visible.

Overall, I'm loving my first Soap & Glory makeup product and I can't wait to try more!
