Clinique is jumping on the contouring bandwagon with two new Chubby Sticks! They're $21 each and come in a bronze contour shade and a highlight shade. Let's take a look!
Sculpting Highlight is an oil-free cream highlighting stick that can be used under or over foundation to spotlight your cheekbones, bridge of the nose, or cupid's bow.
Sculpting Contour is an oil-free contouring stick to add depth to your face in the hollow of your cheeks or along your jawline.
So many brands are coming out with contouring sticks and these are more reasonably priced than some...but I still think you could probably get the same effect with drugstore concealers by purchasing one that's a few shades lighter than your skin to highlight and one a few shades darker to contour.
What do you guys think? Would you buy these, or do you prefer using powders (or some other method?)
I believe that all these contouring products are superfluous. As long as you have a foundation, bronzer, highlighter, or other face product that's 2 shades lighter/darker that your actual skin tone, you're all set. Even if you choose to buy a contouring/highlighting product, you still have to go and test it out. What I found with products that are geared towards all skin tones, in my opinion, is that people with very light and very dark skin tones fall through the cracks.
