Etude House Pink Box September 2014

I just got my Etude House Pink box and I'm so excited!  I haven't gotten to do a Pink Box review in a while, and I'm absolutely obsessed with Etude House.  For those of you who don't know who they are, they're a hugely popular Korean cosmetics brand that has adorable packaging and high quality products at drugstore prices.  To clarify, the Pink Box isn't a subscription box, it's a blogger program where bloggers are sent the newest Etude House products to review and to introduce readers to the brand.
So let's see what I got this month!

When I opened the box, I saw 2 lipsticks, an eyeshadow palette and some BB Cream samples.  I've been dying to try their BB Cream, since I've heard it's one of the best!

Precious Mineral BB Cream, $15, comes in three different formulations...

Blooming Fit- Comes with a “slim layer fit formula” that smoothly glides onto skin even when you apply several layers, helping to express clean, bright, and smooth skin with its mother of pearl.

Cotton Fit-  This all-day pearl bright skin BB Cream perfectly glides onto skin providing clear and bright complexion with a smooth, cotton-like powdery finish for flawless skin.

Perfect Fit- This BB Cream comes with a “double layer cover formula” that perfectly covers imperfections and areas with uneven skin tone for smooth, bright, and flawless skin.
I plan to use this sample and try all three over the next few days.  The Korean BB Creams I've tried so far have given more coverage than the American BB's, which seem like tinted moisturizers to me.

Next, I got Dear My Wish Lips Talk, $9.09, in Thrilling Secret Romance and Chic Hollywood Actress.
These lipsticks come in adorable, girly packaging and the colors go on smooth and bright.  They feel so moisturizing on the lips and they actually leave a little stain behind after wearing off due to the rich pigment.

Here are the info sheets I got with the products...

Chic Hollywood Actress is a My Lips But Better shade that only slightly changed the color of my lips.  Thrilling Secret Romance looked red in the tube, but on my lips, it was a beautiful rich fuchsia shade that I wish I were brave enough to wear out of the house.  I think it goes really well with fair skin, so if you like bright, bold colors, it's amazing!
Before and Afters (my lips were very dry before-hand, sorry!)

After- Thrilling Secret Romance

Next is Fantastic Color Eyes Shadow Palette in Bloody Halloween- $15.49-
This eyeshadow palette has six gorgeous fall shades in a Halloween theme.  The second shade, Zombie Kiss is a cream that can also be used on the lips!

This info sheet shows the shades applied to the eyes- they're beautiful!
Here, I swatched all the shades- they have rich pigmentation and are silky and smooth.  I'm normally into neutral shades, but I was impressed by these fall-inspired colors and I'll definitely be wearing them this season!

Etude House now has a website that ships globally! To check out their other products, please visit www.etudehouse.com.  I can't wait to try more!
