Review: Boots Radiant Glow Concealer in Light

Last week I was in Target and spotted something waaay down on the bottom shelf near the floor in the Boots No. 7 section that I had never noticed before...Radiant Glow Concealer. If there's one thing I can't resist, it's concealer and this one reminded me of YSL's Touche Eclat based on the description. So I picked one up in Light, which the Boots rep told me was a cooler shade, while Medium and Dark are Warmer.

I've been using Touche Eclat for a long time now and it's not so much a concealer as it is a brightener. It magically hides most of my under eye issues without caking or settling into fine lines. It has an amazingly light, fluid texture that's easy to blend into the skin seamlessly. It's only downfall is the price... $41 is no drop in the bucket, but I was willing to pay it until I found a suitable dupe.
This Radiant Glow Concealer from Boots No.7 has that same light, blendable texture that Touche Eclat has, as well as a click pen format (granted YSL's is prettier in a sleek gold tube). I chose the Light shade and I found it to be most similar to the 01 Luminous Radiance shade of Touche Eclat, which is the one I already use...perfect!

When I first swatched it, it was a very pale peachy shade...

Then as it dried, the color deepened a bit.  The photo below shows the Boots Radiant Glow Concealer on the left and Touche Eclat on the right. The Boots one had already started to darken, while the Touche was freshly applied, so they looked different here.

Then after they both dried, they looked virtually the same shade of dark peach that blended into my skin, almost to the point where it's hard to see them (below).

When I first applied the Boots Radiant Glow, I was immediately in love with the texture and blendability, but I didn't notice a lot of coverage.  Then a while later, I passed by a mirror and thought that my face looked flawless (I had applied it under my eyes, around my nose and other parts of my face where I would put concealer).  I realized that my face looked just as bright and fresh as when I use Touche Eclat.  So I would definitely call this a dupe!  

Have you ever tried this concealer?  I can't believe I've never noticed it before!
