When the original Glow All The Way Highlighters came out, a lot of people thought they would be Benefit High Beam and Sun Beam dupes, but they were a bit too dark to give the same effect. The new sheer versions are amazingly similar as you'll see in my comparison swatches below.
First, I'll talk about the products themselves.
There are two shades, In The Buff which is a bronze shade, and Blushing Babe, a pink shade.
These contain 24 karat gold dust to give a beautiful sheen, and the base is silicone, giving this the feel of a primer. That's a major difference between these and High Beam/Sun Beam...those are more liquid and light in texture, while these are thick and primer-like. The tube is a generous size so if you're only using this on your face, it'll last forever. The consistency of these make them ideal to use on the body because they spread so easily and feel so soft and silky. I've used other body luminizers in the past that dry so quickly they end up looking patchy, but not these!
In the swatches below, I used a lot so the colors look very concentrated.

Overall, these are amazingly versatile highlighters. They are so easy to use on the body, either alone or mixed in with body lotion. On the face, they can be mixed with foundation for a very subtle glow, or tapped on top of foundation in places you want to highlight. Not to mention that these new sheerer shades are perfect dupes for Benefit's High Beam and Sun Beam, which are $26 each for a small little bottle. These large tubes will last forever and at $8, they're a worthwhile investment.
I'll pin these to my Dupes Board on Pinterest! If you haven't visited that yet, it's a huge collection of the best dupes I've found all in one place!
which color did you like the best because i want to get one or both but i don't know which one to get or if i should get both...
ReplyDeleteI liked the pink one best but that's only becayse I highlight a lot more than I bronze. So it's really based on which one you think you'd use more...they're both great colors so it would be hard to choose between them based on color. :)
