I haven't done a "What's in my Cart" post in quite a while, but I'm always adding things I'm interested in at various store websites. It doesn't mean that I actually buy everything that's in my cart...they're sort of like running wishlists (my husband jokingly refers to them as my "neverending wishlists"). They also help me to remember the things I want to try...I see so many new beauty products on a daily basis and I would probably forget about half of them if I didn't add them to my cart while they're fresh in my mind.
Today I wanted to share the four things I've accumulated in my QVC.com cart over the past couple of weeks.
Philosophy Fresh Cream & Mint Layering Trio ($42.84)- I'm a huge fan of Philosophy's Fresh Cream scent...it's warm, sweet and comforting which is my favorite type of fragrance...most of the time. When it's hot and sticky outside though, I usually switch to something a bit more fresh or herbal-scented. I know it's all in my head but I feel like a fresh scent would be more "cooling" than a warm, sweet scent...even though it's just a fragrance and has nothing to do with cooling my skin.
That's why I was excited to see that Philosophy added mint to their Fresh Cream scent...in the presentation I watched, they said it's very soft and subtle...just a hint to take the Fresh Cream scent and make it a bit more refreshing. This set would be $62 if you purchased the products separately so the price is right (and if I don't like the scent, QVC has a great return policy).
Laura Geller Baked Mediterranean Bronzer w/Brush ($28.56)- I saw the presentation for this the other day and loved the look of the lightest shade...it looked so great going on, is totally matte, and not orange at all which is perfect for my fair-light skin. It contains three different shades, which I like because it tends to look more natural than one flat color, plus you can just dip the brush in the center for a light wash of color or go toward the outside for deeper color. And if I'm being totally honest...the beautiful pattern embossed in the powder pretty much sealed the deal. I can't resist beautiful packaging!
Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten Palette w/Brush ($32.74)- I love Laura Geller's Baked Blushes...they go on so beautifully and last forever because you only need a teeny tiny bit. They all have multiple pigments mixed throughout them so they create more of a multidimensional effect than one flat color. I keep meaning to collect more shades and this is a less expensive way to do it since they're normally $28 a piece...here they're only $10.91 each.
Farmacy Honey Potion Warming Face Mask ($49.50)- Doesn't a warming honey face mask sound heavenly? This is really pricey but I was impressed by their Sleep Tight mask (see my mini review here) so I might give this a go the next time QVC offers Easy Pay on it.
So that's my QVC wishlist...what's in your online carts? Do you have a beauty wishlist?

What's in My Cart: The Tarte Friends & Family Sale

The Tarte Cosmetics Friends & Family sale is going on now and there are a couple of things I've been wanting to buy so it's the perfect time to snag them while they're 30% off! I'm actually glad I didn't try to purchase any of these products during the Ulta 20% off sale or the Sephora 15% off sale...30% is just so much better! Use code FRIENDS at checkout.
Okay so I know I'm really late to the party with this one but I have always wanted the Rainforest After Dark palette. I didn't even know that it was still available, since it was a limited edition!
I've also been hearing great things about the new Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation...several reviews I've seen said that it's good for dry skin...yay!
I also got a sample of the new Tartiest Lash Paint at Sephora last week and I'm obsessed! It makes my lashes miles long, like falsies and the brush combs everything out so there's no clumps.
Finally, I saw the Colored Clay Bronzer Blush and decided I need it for summer. How pretty are all those bronze and pink (or peach...there are two versions) shades?! I can just imagine how they look blended together...I bet it's the perfect summery blush! Plus the leaf design is too cute.
That's what I'm getting...what do you have your eye on? I'd love to hear about it!

What's in My Cart at: Sephora!

The bi-annual Sephora Beauty Insider sale starts tomorrow 4/7 for VIB Rouge, Friday 4/8 for VIB's and Saturday 4/9 for Beauty Insiders and runs until April 13th. I got my 15% off code in the mail and have been adding items to my cart all week that I really want to try. Let's take a look!
Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector ($34)- At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to try this because I assumed it was lacking in coverage, similar to a tinted moisturizer or BB Cream. But after reading a ton of reviews, the consensus seems to be that it's a BB Cream/Foundation hybrid that has good coverage and the hydration of a BB. So now I'm curious...into the cart it goes!
Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Highlighter in Sin ($26)- Do I need another highlighter in my life? No, not really. But the promise of an 8-hour highlighter is intriguing since mine seem to disappear so quickly. Plus, the swatches I've seen look gorgeous!
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream ($45)- This is actually an allover body moisturizer (despite the name) and it contains Guarana, which contains one of the most potent forms of caffeine in the world. And...since caffeine has a tightening and smoothing effect when applied to the skin, I'm thinking this might be a great thing to have during the upcoming shorts and bathing suit season. I've been loving the C. Booth lotion I got from Ulta recently and I think the caffeine in it has really started to make my skin smoother. So if this has a higher dose, I'm game to try it! Plus it has a slight amount of shimmer to make your skin glow and according to the reviews it also has a tropical scent that many people are saying is totally addictive.
Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM Eye Cream ($55)- If you've been reading my blog for a while, you may know that I'm completely obsessed with Peter's Retinol Fusion PM Serum...it's made such a huge difference in my skin and I'm already on my second bottle. I've been using the serum under my eyes to reverse the fine lines that have started to crop up (retinol is one of the only ingredients that has been scientifically proven to rebuild collagen) so I'm really excited that he came out with an eye cream that I can use to increase the results even more.
Ouai Hair Oil ($28)- The Ouai line is brand new to Sephora and was created by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin (think Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, The Kardashians, Sofia Vergara). I recently tried a sample of this hair oil and fell in love with how lightweight it is! When you have fine hair, oils can be scary but this doesn't weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy at all! It also smells amazing...like Gardenias. I definitely want to get the full size so that I can experiment with it more, but so far I really like it!
So that's my haul for tomorrow! What do you have your eye on for the Sephora sale?
What's In My Cart at: Ulta!

When I'm shopping online, I love to fill shopping carts with all of the things I have my eye on so I don't forget...sort of like a running wishlist. I thought it might be fun (and different) to share the things I plan on buying since I usually only write about things I've already purchased. I figure I'll make it a regular thing here on the blog, and today I wanted to share what's in my Ulta cart...so let's take a look!
Soap & Glory Breakfast Scrub $15- I put this in my cart for three reasons...1. I love all things Soap & Glory, 2. The Breakfast Club is one of my favorite movies, and 3. It has a 5 star rating on Ulta.com so I have really high hopes fot it. Plus it smells like maple syrup, so there's that (I guess that's four reasons).
Lorac Unzipped Cheek Palette ($25)- Online only. I'm obsessed with all things Lorac these days and this blush palette is too cute to pass up...the colors look so beautiful and perfect for Spring and Summer!
Soap & Glory Kick Ass Blur & Brighten Concealer Crayon ($9)- I love products that come in stick and crayon form...they're so easy and totally unfussy for a busy mom like me that doesn't have a lot of time to get ready. This one actually claims to blur flaws as it covers, so count me curious! I totally need to try this one.
C. Booth 4-in-1 Body Lotion ($9.99)- This winter, I totally fell in love with C. Booth's Egyptian Argan Oil Body Butter ($7.99 at Ulta) so for summer, I'm dying to try their 4-in-1 Body Lotion. It comes in delicious-sounding scents and contains antioxidants to protect, oils and butters to hydrate, alpha hydroxy acids to smooth flaky skin and bumps, and caffeine to tone and firm. It sounds like the perfect all-in-one lotion!
Mally Beauty Poreless Face Defender Boost ($36)- Mally's original Face Defender is the perfect finishing product to mattify my skin and set my makeup without the dryness of powder (and when you have dry or mature skin, powder can sometimes gather in fine lines and make you look older). This new version gives your skin a little boost of bronze and based on the reviews, it gives just a hint of natural warmth, so it sounds like it would be perfect for my fair to light skin.
C. Booth Triple Action Shampoo & Shower Gel Rosemary Mint ($6.99)- I love herbal-scented shower products, especially rosemary mint. This one has great reviews and is a budget-friendly price. I've really been getting into C. Booth's products lately so this is just one more I'm dying to try.
Too Faced Mascara Melt-Off ($17)- This just sounds straight-up cool! Imagine being able to completely dissolve all types of mascara (even waterproof) without rubbing or tugging...just by applying this with it's mascara-like wand. I absolutely hate spending so much time washing my face at night only to have raccoon eyes in the morning, so I think I need to see what this is all about...it could be a total lifesaver if it works.
So that's about it...what's in your Ulta cart?
