Stila Matte 'N Metal Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

I had a little bit of money left over on an Ulta gift card from my birthday in November so when I walked into my local Ulta and saw the new Stila Matte 'N Metal Palette ($49) I grabbed it without a second thought! I have always been tempted by the Kat Von D Metal Matte Palette, especially since I know her formula is amazing, but there are some shades in that palette that I know I'll never wear. Looking at this palette, on the other hand, I knew that I would wear every single shade which is important, especially when you're dropping almost $50 bucks on it.

Let's take a look!

Stila A Whole Lot of Love Set for Holiday 2015

One of my favorite Instagram accounts to follow is @beautylogicblog and it's Milly Almodovar Thompson, Senior Beauty Editor at Cosmo for Latinas. She always has the best sneak peeks and I love living vicariously through her as she gets all the new products across her desk on a daily basis.
I just saw this on her Instagram yesterday and wanted to share it with you guys! It's Stila's A Whole Lot of Love gift set, a $225 value for $59.
You get 20 matte, pearl, and shimmer eyeshadows, 4 blushes, and a deluxe size Huge Extreme Lash Mascara, which is the new one that just came out over the summer. I'm not sure when this will be out yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I do!

Stila Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector Review & Swatches

Stila Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector ($39 at Stila Cosmetics) is a hybrid cream foundation and pressed powder in one that gives flawless coverage with minimal effort. Keep on reading for my review and swatches.
I review a lot of products every month and sometimes it seems like the same old, same old. It's rare to get a product that's just really cool and different but when I do, it's really exciting! That's how I felt as soon as I tried Stila's new Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector (try saying that three times fast)!

I couldn't decide between shades (there are five of them) so I bought Light and Medium to try. I decided that Fair looked too light, and besides I'm almost never the lightest shade. Tan and Deep were definitely too dark for me and normally I would have just grabbed Light but I have a bit of a tan so I thought I might be closer to Medium when I swatched it on my arm in the store. Turns out, my face is lighter than my body right now so Medium was too dark and Light was just perfect.

New: Stila Lash Stunner Primer and Huge Extreme Lash Mascara

Stila just released two new lash products with their Fall 2015 collection, Lash Stunner Extreme Lash Primer ($26) and Huge Extreme Lash Mascara ($23).  Let's take a closer look!

Lash Stunner Extreme Lash Primer features two different kinds of fibers built into a creamy, easy to apply formula with no fiber fallout (yes!!). I actually saw this in Sephora today and I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting it, but I didn't want to go over my budget.  The formula is also brown instead of white like most lash primers are.

Huge Extreme Lash Mascara is supposed to be a lightweight volumizing mascara that builds extreme volume and coats lashes with an inky black color. It has a blend of soft waxes that allow you to build multiple coats without making your lashes clumpy or crunchy. I saw this in store at Sephora today also and the brush reminds me a lot of Too Faced's Better than Sex mascara.

Have you tried either of these yet, or are you thinking about getting one (or both)? I really want to take the plunge but I'm holding off for some reviews, as I do with most high-end products.

You can find these at Sephora and Ulta stores and online.

New: Stila Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector

Stila Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector ($39 at Sephora) is a brand new skin-perfecting foundation with an innovative bouncy, putty texture and it's part of their new Modern Goddess Fall 2015 collection. Let's take a look!

This powder/cream hybrid is a weightless, invisible formula that offers buildable, weightless coverage that looks like skin, not makeup. It offers a soft matte finish while it smooths the skin and hides imperfections, pores and uneven skin tone.
It comes in five shades: Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, and Deep and claims to be waterproof and smudgeproof for all day wear.

According to the Sephora website, this is great for all skin types...oily skin types will love the oil-free matte formula while it won't settle into fine lines or look cakey on dry skin.

Honestly, I thought I was on a no-buy July from here on out, but now I find myself caving because I really want to try this, it sounds amazing.

What do you guys think? Will you be indulging? I'll feel better if I know I'm not the only one who wants this really badly.

You can find this at Sephora and Ulta
