The brush is the plastic type with very close together bristles. I find that the closer and more densely packed the bristles, the less clumps you get. I think it's because not as much mascara settles between the bristles so when you comb through your lashes it's evenly distributed on the brush, rather than depositing a lot in one area and not so much in another.
Another thing I wanted to mention about the brush has to do with the wand itself. The wand flexes just underneath the base of the brush- if you've tried Loreal's Miss Manga you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I've found that this makes it a little harder to really get the brush into the base of your lashes as it doesn't provide a lot of grip with the wand bending back and forth. So I felt like I was gliding it lightly over my lashes rather than really getting it in there, if that makes sense. I didn't have this same issue with Miss Manga because the bristles were wider apart and it was easier to grab lashes with it.

It also didn't smudge or flake by the end of the day and my lashes felt soft right up until bedtime.
Overall, I really love the Argan oil formula of this mascara as well as the non-clumping brush. My only issue with this is the wobbly wand, so application-wise this requires a bit more work and a steady hand.
Have you seen this in the stores yet? Tried it? Want to try it?
