WHAT IT IS:A medium-coverage foundation that hides peach fuzz rather than highlighting it.
I think that's awesome if it works! I will admit that I have this problem on my chin and sides of my face. It's unnoticeable most of the time...it's peach fuzz that never grows any longer and is always made obvious by foundations. It's a pain in the neck trying to remove/hide it so I'm interested to see if this does the job.
HOW IT LOOKS/FEELS:Except for the fact that you apply it with the included silicone disc, this liquid formula feels like any other foundation.
A silicone disc is an interesting applicator vs. a brush or sponge! This is really piquing my curiosity now.
How it works:This Breakthrough foundation sends unruly facial hair to obedience school, first softening the hairs with glycerin so they can lie flat against the face, then gluing them down with a resin that forms a very thin film between the hair and skin. The resin also helps adhere pigment and spherical silicone particles (which throw light, and the eye, away from the fuzz) to the hairs, so they're nicely concealed. And while all this may sound like spackle, it feels like regular foundation and washes off just as easily.
I wonder how it can have all that going on and still feel like regular foundation. I'm dying to test this out.
What do you think? Is this a good idea or a bad one?
