Memebox Global #13 Review

It's time for another Memebox review! This one is a Global box, so it doesn't have a specific theme like my previous ones (Whole Grain, Cacao, Skincare) it has a mix of different kinds of products.
Before I start the review, I have some good news! Memebox now has a warehouse in San Francisco that's stocked with Korean beauty products from their website. So that means fast shipping if you're interested in purchasing single products (not boxes). Click here to see the Memebox store.
Also, they have some boxes that are ready to ship today with a free upgrade to express shipping, so for $6.99 shipping you can get a Memebox from Korea to your house in 3 days (instead of paying $25.99 for express shipping)! This only applies to boxes that are ready to go (see them here).

OK, now on to the Global #13 box...

This box cost $23 and has a value of $191.70!! Out of all my subscription boxes, Memebox always gives the most product for your money.

The first product is Nuganic CC Cream Sun Base $54 (full size!)

This CC cream has aloe vera, lemon, and other plant extracts to balance the moisture and oil in your skin- great for combination types! It starts out white and blends into the skin when it's rubbed in. It covers up minor skin imperfections and also has SPF 50 to keep your skin protected throughout the day. It comes in a tube with a pump which is much more hygienic than a jar.

CNP Laboratory Derma-Scalp Shampoo $2.70 (Full-size product: 250g, $27)
CNP Derma-Scalp Shampoo is a deep cleansing shampoo with tea tree oil to unclog pores, remove impurities, and refresh your scalp. My husband who has oily skin and hair uses tea tree shampoo and swears by it so I'll probably give it to him, since my hair is super dry.

Soy Bio Plus Fermented Lumpoule 5ml x 2ea. Value: $24.80 (Full-size product: 5ml x 14ea: $174).
The name Lumpuole sounds bizarre, but this is a blend of Korean fermented soy bean lump (hence the "lump") in an ampuole form (an ampuole is like a serum but richer and more potent). This works to prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles and also brightens the skin. The instructions say to apply 2-3 drops to the skin which means these two vials will last a long time. The full sized treatment is $174 so this is quite an expensive product. I plan to use it every day and see if it decreases my fine lines. It has no scent at all so that's good for those who are sensitive to scents.

23years old CX Detoxifying Air Therapy 1ea (full-size product), value: $50-
The 23 Years Old CX Detoxifying Air Therapy mask pack is a Carboxy pack that contains carbonated water that penetrates deep into your skin. First, you apply the contents of the syringe to your face, then place the sheet mask on top for 20-30 minutes. I had to try this as soon as I got it, since it sounded (and looked) very cool and clinical. It tingles quite a bit and afterwards my skin felt really soft and deep cleaned, like all those bubbles got right down into my pores.

Yufit Eon Wheat-Germ Cream 75 75 ml (full-size)$ 48-

I've seen some other bloggers express concern over the "germ" in the title of this cream. Let me reassure you, wheat germ isn't germs as in, bugs or viruses... it's short for germination and is the part of wheat that sprouts and grows into a new plant. Despite being the most vitamin- and mineral-rich part of the wheat kernel, it's left out when it's processed to make white bread. Over 75% of this cream is made up of organic wheat germ extracts that hydrate, firm, brighten, and fight signs of aging. It is also non-irritating and helps tighten pores. This is a fairly thick, rich cream so my dry skin will probably love it!

Donga Tempo Eco Natural Super 3ea. Value- $2 (Full-size product: 16 each, $11).
I was surprised to see a box of tampons in my Memebox. Donga was the first Korean brand to make tampons in the '70's and they are made from 100% organic cotton. It's nice that they're organic and all, but this is the first product out of all the Memeboxes I've gotten so far that I'm disappointed with.  I love getting Korean beauty products and that's what I really look forward to.  I just feel like I can go pick up tampons at the drugstore for a couple of dollars anytime.

CNP Cosmetics CNP Tone-Up Protection Sun 15ml. Value- $10.20 (Full-size product: 50ml, $34).

This is a sunscreen with SPF 42 but unlike greasy sunscreens, it contains powdery components to keep your skin feeling dry to the touch but it also has deep sea water so your skin stays hydrated. I'm not usually into sunscreens (meaning I wear them but they're not usually that interesting) but this one actually feels really nice, so since I have to wear it anyway, might as well be something that makes your skin feel good.

Overall, this was another great Memebox (aside from the tampons)!  This might have the highest value yet out of all the boxes I've received!
