First Look at the New IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush

PR Sample
Get ready IT Cosmetics fans, there are some amazing new products launching late next week on QVC and I'll be sharing a few of them with you over the next several days. I shared a sneak peek of a new concealer on my Instagram page last week and today, I'll be sharing a close-up look at the brand new Bye Bye Pores Blush in the shade Naturally Pretty.
Bye Bye Pores Blush is described as a "poreless finish airbrush brightening blush" and it's infused with silk to give you a buildable, natural looking flush of color that lasts. It comes in a black rubbery compact that reminds me of Nars packaging...definitely a good thing in terms of looks, but on the practical side, it does tend to attract makeup smudges and dust particles over time. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I always try to keep my makeup looking neat so it brings out my OCD side a little bit.

Inside, there's a mirror in the lid and the blush itself is really pretty...it has a little dot pattern and the IT Cosmetics logo embossed in the center. I wonder if the little dots are supposed to remind you that this will minimize the look of your pores? They look like pores, so that's what it makes me think of, haha! :)

The formula is soft, silky and nicely pigmented, with one swipe of the brush giving you a pretty flush that looks so natural. I have pretty noticeable pores on my cheeks (which just sort of showed up in my mid 30's...grr) and products that have a lot of shimmer tend accentuate them even more. This goes on so smooth, it actually minimizes the look of my pores. It has a beautiful satin finish that's not totally matte, but the little bit of shimmer it does contain is subtle and natural looking- it's just enough to sort of reflect light away from your skin for an airbrushed effect.

The color Naturally Pretty is perfect for my complexion. Below I'm wearing a light layer that gives a natural flush of pale warm pink that's perfect for everyday. When I build it up, it gives a richer pop of color for a bolder look.
Overall, this is another product from IT Cosmetics that I'm totally smitten with. I love how everything in this line enhances your natural beauty without going overboard. I can't wait to share this launch with you, but at the moment, I'm sworn to secrecy. Stay tuned until late next week and all will be revealed! :)

  1. This looks great, I love It cosmetics and can't wait too find out what's coming out next week. I hope its a today's special value kit, fingers crossed!! By the way, you are SO pretty. I like that you have a more natural look. So many bloggers pile on too much makeup and it gets old after a while because who looks like that in real life? Not me and its hard to relate. Keep doing what you're doing I love your blog.

    1. Oh my gosh, thank you so much, that really makes my day! It's so nice to hear you say that because I sometimes feel like I'm bland and boring compared to all the YouTube and Instagram bloggers that can create more elaborate makeup looks. I love the way it looks on other people, but I start to feel clownish when I put too much makeup on myself. Now I don't feel so bad, so thank you. :)

  2. Desiree, thanks for your comment. I totally agree!! I am really impatient with bloggers/vloggers who talk about half a dozen products OR MORE so *enthusiastically* it is completely irritating. Nobody can think about, buy, or use that many and in this time of global warming, we can't afford to waste resources and energy in producing them and their unnecessary packaging. And it looks stupid and clownish on the poor women who write and star in these videos or blogs. I can't relate to them either; I feel so much better that I'm not alone here. In makeup, less is really more.

  4. This looks beautiful, love the shade! I love the look of ITCosmetics, but as it isn't sold in the UK, I'd have to pay extra, which puts me off xx

    1. Aww that's a shame! I hope they expand to Europe soon...it's such an amazing brand! Wait, are they on QVC in the UK? They are here.

  5. I second Desiree's comment about your natural, practical look. It's hard to relate to bloggers sporting purple lips and false eyelashes for their "face of the day". I'm going to the grocery store, not a nightclub! I've noticed lately that blush and highlighter are emphasizing my pores, so this product is right on time for me.

    1. Aww thank you so much. It makes me so happy to hear that you can relate! Sometimes it seems like most people want to see the whole nine yards when it comes to makeup, so I'm glad to see there are people out there who look at makeup like I do! :) XO

  7. What is the lasting power like with this? That has always been my issue with most blushes, regardless of how much they cost. Naturally Pretty is a gorgeous shade and I'm intrigued, I have large pores too.
