Memebox Special #43 K-Style 3 Unboxing

It's time for another Memebox!  When this one showed up at my house, it felt so light I wasn't sure there was anything in it...usually my Memeboxes are really heavy!  But then I opened it and got so excited because this one was all makeup and not skincare (no wonder it was so light)!  Don't get me wrong, I love skincare, but I have so much of it and I've been dying to try some more Korean makeup.  So let's see what I got...

This box is called K-Style 3 and it's full of the hottest, trendiest products in Korea right now.  This box contained 6 full sized products with a total value of $80 (it cost $23).

Secret Kiss Face Fit Strobe Cream- $11 (currently on sale in the Memeshop for $8)-
This cream is made up of 6 different kinds of gemstone powders and floral extracts and can be used either as a primer under makeup or can be mixed with makeup for a beautiful soft focus glow (think Magic Lumi primer).  You can also use a dab of this on cheekbones or brow bones as a pretty highlight.

It starts out white out of the tube, but when blended, it just gives a soft glow with no heavy shimmer or sparkle.

Vella Flower Flower BB Cream- $26 (currently on sale for $11)-
This BB cream swatched so nicely on my skin and didn't look cakey, even on my dry hands, so I'm sure it'll look great on my face.  I'm always really impressed with Korean BB creams, as they offer medium to full coverage and aren't the tinted moisturizer-type BB Creams we're used to.  This is like a foundation, but with skincare benefits.  I can't wait to play with this some more!

Color World Jewelish Stick Shadow- $13
This cream shadow stick is really creamy and glides on easily, yet has major staying power!  I swatched it on my arm, and 15 minutes later I had a hard time getting it off!  This shade is called Twinkle Green and it has glitter in it...not really my style, but I did like the feel and the wear-ability of it. Plus the packaging was nice...the stick was heavy, it didn't feel like the typical lightweight cheap plastic.

Style Y Color Fit Creamy Lip and Cheek $13-

I got this in the shade "Smoothie Pink" and this has a smooth whipped mousse texture that feels amazing on my lips!  It dries to a matte finish that feels comfortable and soft- it reminds me of NYX Lip Creams but even softer!  This color is amazing too...so pretty!

Tony Moly 7 Days Tattoo Eyebrow $8-
I'm a huge Tony Moly fan so I was really excited to get this!  Besides, the prospect of an eyebrow pen that will last 7 days is so cool!  This looks like a regular liquid liner, but the brush is soft and flexible, not stiff, so it makes really soft strokes that don't look harsh.  It's also teeny tiny so the brushstrokes look like hair!  I don't know about the 7-day thing...we'll see. I was able to remove the swatch on my arm easily with makeup remover, but maybe it holds up better under cleanser and water.
I swatched it thin to the right and then thicker to the left so you could see the color better (02 Dark Brown). Normally I stay away from dark brown since I have light brown eyebrows, but this one is ashy-toned and not that dark, so it ended up matching perfectly!
Style Y Soft Fit Mix and Match Pencil and Powder Shadow ($9)-
I received the shade "Brown Liner and Peach Tip" which is really pretty and wearable.  The eyeshadow is inside the cap on one end with a sponge-tipped applicator to apply it with.  The other side has a twist-up liner that's really smooth and creamy.  The two shades compliment each other really well!

Overall I loved my first all-makeup Memebox!  It's so much fun to try out new products that you can't find here in the US.

For the month of November, save $5 off a $30 purchase at Memebox using code: PO0GK1 ($30 before shipping and taxes).

Have you tried Memebox yet?  There's no subscription to sign up for...boxes are purchased individually and one-time only.  Plus, they have an entire store of single products to try, many of which are shipped right from the US, so no waiting for shipping from Korea!
