Wet N' Wild Mega Impact Mascara ($3.79) isn't new, but I saw it in the displays at Walgreens along with some new products (pictures of the new products are on my
Facebook and
Instagram pages) so I figured I'd try it, especially since the packaging says, "Longest T
hickest Lashes EVER!" and "
Instantly LIFTS for drama". Who could say no to that?
Description and Ingredients:
It comes in a bright, eye-catching orange tube that's not perfectly round, but is more of an oblong shape.
The brush is just a standard mascara wand, nothing too special about it.
The formula is very dry and I found it hard to build up more than one or two coats. I honestly didn't even come close to getting the "longest thickest lashes ever". I guess after a claim like that, if it's not amazing, you're going to be let down. This added a hint of thickness, hardly any length, and I didn't see any lifting action going on either. Needless to say, this was a pretty big fail for me. Even if it didn't make those bold claims, I would still be disappointed with it, but the claims make it even more of a let-down.
