BH Cosmetics Forever Nude Palette Review and Swatches

The Forever Nude Palette is new this year from BH Cosmetics and I was so excited to get one just in time for the warmer weather!  These shades are so light and pretty...let's take a closer look!

The box the palette comes in is really cute and I was surprised at how big it was.  I'm used to palettes being small and it's hard to tell from looking at a picture online, but this is much bigger than your average palette.

Just for reference, here it is next to the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, which isn't a small palette either, but Forever Nude is almost as long and twice as wide.

Here's the description on the back-
The palette itself looks similar to the box- I love the pink with swirls and the font is pretty too!

When I opened this palette, I was immediately in love with these shades.  This palette is mostly rose and pink-toned neutrals, which reminds me a lot of Urban Decay's Naked 3.  Also, the mirror is huge!  I could apply my makeup anywhere with this.  Speaking of portability, the large size doesn't bother me because it's very slim, so I feel like I could still slip this into a bag no problem. It's also very sturdy and well made and it closes tightly so I don't feel like it's going to rattle around or pop open in my purse.

This palette contains 2 blushes, 2 lip colors, 1 highlighter, and 6 eyeshadows (some shimmer, some matte, some satin). Everything is very soft and pigmented too.

The blushes are really soft, feminine shades that give a pretty flush of color.

The highlight shade is perfect and not too shimmery, which I like. I love using it on my brow bones- it really brightens up the area without looking obvious. I'm sorry it's hard to see the swatch, but it's close to my skin color so it made it tough to photograph well.

The first 3 eyeshadows are a pale shimmery pink, a matte pink, and a satin brown.

The next 3 are a shimmery taupe, a satin beige, and a matte dark eggplant (it looks black in the palette but is a really dark purple-y black on my skin).

The lip colors are actually creamy lipsticks, not glosses.  I'm so used to getting glosses in palettes that when I swatched these, I couldn't believe how pigmented they were.  The shades are gorgeous- I would wear both of these.

Overall, my first experience with BH Cosmetics was really impressive.  For $11.95, this palette has so many gorgeous nude shades to create so many different looks, plus everything is really pigmented and the size is very generous.  I can't wait to try more of their products!
