I recently had the opportunity to try some of the products from the new collection to create my own Perfectly Undone Look.  But first, I took the "What Kind Of Wavy Girl Are You?" quiz on the Walmart website (click here to take the quiz too). I got Boho Waves! Then you can watch videos on how to create these looks below and which products to use.

The Boho Waves look was created using the Perfectly Undone Shampoo ($4.98) and Conditioner ($4.98), plus the Wave Creation Sea Foam ($6.98).

Weightless Silicone-Free Shampoo & Conditioner
Create the perfect base with this lightweight silicone-free formula that nourishes hair but never weighs it down.

I absolutely loved this shampoo and conditioner! It's extremely hard to find silicone-free hair products these days which is important for people with fine thin hair like me.  After a while, silicone builds up and can weigh your hair down and make it look dull.  The shampoo had tons of creamy lather but didn't feel like it was drying out my hair.  The conditioner felt thick and rich, hydrating my dry color-treated hair, but it rinsed clean. Afterwards, my hair felt moisturized and clean with no heavy feel, plus it smells amazing! Even the next day, I could still smell the fresh clean scent in my hair.
Wave Creation Sea Foam
This ultra-light Sea Foam helps create soft, natural-looking waves. It looks similar to mousse but is thinner and more foamy rather than creamy. The bottle said to use 2-5 pumps...I used 3 since I have fine hair that's medium length.  I spread it evenly through my hair from root to tip, like it showed in the video and then blow-dried my hair with a round brush.  It didn't make my hair feel sticky and didn't weigh it down at all.

Next, the video showed to wrap sections of hair around a curling iron, holding it vertically.  The stylist showed a cool trick I hadn't seen before...to flick your wrist as you're wrapping the hair around the barrel of the iron to get a more natural wave pattern.

Here's my finished waves...I decided to start my waves further down since it looks a little more casual and less "done" than starting them up high, especially on a long bob like mine.
Overall, the TRESemme Perfectly Undone collection makes it easy to get hydrated yet weightless hair that's a great base for creating your perfect waves!
It's available now at Walmart, so head on over to their website, take the quiz and watch the tutorials to see how you get get your perfectly undone look this summer!

Spotted in Store- Tresemme Nourishing Rituals Hair Line

I just spotted a new Tresemme Line at Walgreens today called Nourishing Rituals.
Three out of the four products in the line were on the shelf: The Rejuvenating Mud Masque, Protein Renewal Creme, and Liquid Gold Shine Therapy.  The one I didn't see in the store was the Cashmere Touch Hydrating Serum.
Here's a little bit about the products from the Tresemme website.  (I'm not sure why the products are pink and white on the website instead of red and white, because in the store, they are most definitely red!)

Rejuvenating Mud Masque:
This masque restores moisture to dry, damaged hair. After just one use your hair will be up to 10x stronger* and have a bright, healthy glow.

Formulated with minerals from the Dead Sea and essence of wildflower honey, Rejuvenating Mud Masque nourishes and helps replenish hair for a strong, healthy look.

Protein Renewal Creme:

This crème moisturizes and strengthens distressed and damaged hair for up to 96% less breakage after just one use.* And your hair will be vibrant and more resistant to damage.

Formulated with soy proteins, Protein Renewal Crème helps to fortify hair from damage.

Liquid Gold Shine Therapy:

This lightweight conditioning treatment helps rejuvenate tired, dull hair for multidimensional shine and improved silkiness.

The formula, which is infused with reflective micro-crystals, helps to add salon-shine to your hair.

Cashmere Touch Hydrating Serum:

Indulge with this salon-rich, intensive conditioning treatment that restores softness to dry, brittle hair while fighting frizz. Hair will be touchably soft and silky smooth.

Formulated with a combination of coconut, argan oil, and other nourishing ingredients, Cashmere Touch Hydrating Serum helps to dramatically control frizz and restore hair’s silky, smooth appearance.

I think the one I'm most excited to try is the Liquid Gold shine therapy!  What about you guys?

Spotted in store- Tresemme Split End Remedy

A few weeks ago, I posted about new Tresemme Split End Remedy shampoo and conditioner that had hit the shelves at CVS.  Today at Walgreens, I spotted two new styling products from the line...a Leave-in Conditioning Spray and Split End Sealing Serum.

This line is supposed to repair split ends in 3 uses and prevent new ones from forming.  How, you ask?  Since split ends are negatively charged, and the products have a positive charge, the positive attaches inside the split.  Then during heat styling, the hair contracts, binding the two charges together and creating a freshly cut look.  Don't you just love science?

Since I'm growing out my bob, I'm waiting longer in between cuts, so I definitely need this!  I picked up the Split End Sealing Serum for $4.99 and plan to use it in my shower tomorrow morning.  I'll let you know how it is!

There's a video on how these work on the Tresemme site, if you're interested to learn more about them!

Spotted in Stores- Tresseme Split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner

Today at CVS, I saw new TreSemme Split Remedy shampoo and conditioner.  I wonder if this could be a dupe for Nexxus Split End Repair.  I've had pretty good luck with TresSemme products in the past, and I like how inexpensive they are, but also, how huge the bottles are!  You really get a lot for your money.
Has anyone tried this yet?  I'm dying to know if it works!

TreSemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo Review

I don't wash my hair every day, because if I do, it gets really dried out. Yesterday, I ended up putting a lot of product in it, and since today wasn't a hairwash day, I woke up late this morning and then realized I had really greasy-looking hair.  So I stopped off at Walgreens on my way in, because I remembered seeing a new dry shampoo by TreSemme, and I figured it would be the perfect thing to review for Frugirl at the same time.
Unlike other dry shampoos, this one is not powdery- it contains mineral clay which absorbs the oil.  I've tried some that leave my roots looking gray, but this one dries clear and sprays clear, like hairspray.  It smells like lemon-lime, which adds freshness to the hair, and isn't sticky at all.  It made my hair much less greasy, and even added some volume. I wouldn't say it looked freshly washed, but it didn't look greasy anymore either.    At $3.99, this is a fantastic buy!
