Orly Nail Polish Review

I recently had the opportunity to try Orly nail polish for the first time and I have to say, I'm really impressed! They sent me one of their new Fall 2016 shades from the Mulholland Collection as well as two of their Breathable Treatment + Color shades.

Let's take a look!

First up is a shade called Party in the Hills ($8.50), which is part of the Mulholland Collection for Fall 2016. It's a black & gold microglitter that can be worn sheer over another polish, or build up on its own. I decided to layer on three coats to make it opaque and I was impressed by how fast it dried!

Next are two shades from the Breathable collection. I love these...they're meant to cut your manicure time in half because they contain a base, color and top coat in one. I've seen other polishes that claim to do that but these are by far the best I've tried! They go on so smoothly (even when my nails are ridged) and they dry super shiny (I'm not wearing a clear topcoat in these photos!). They give you complete coverage in two coats and dry super fast. It really did cut down the time I spent doing my nails!
They contain Argan Oil, Pro Vitamin B5, and Vitamin C, plus Oxygen technology allows your nails to breathe.

The shades I got to try were Love My Nails, which is described as a "true red creme"...

...and Barely There , which is a beautiful warm white creme.

Overall, if you do your nails at home like I do and are looking for a polish that will give you beautiful results quickly, I highly recommend checking out Orly...I'm thoroughly impressed!

You can purchase these shades at Orlybeauty.com. Orly is also available at stores like Ulta and Kohls.

  1. I've never tried Orly, usually stick to OPI and Essie but these look and sound great! I'll be getting one to try next time I'm at Ulta!

  2. Orly Breathable is my go-to nail polish, I'm so glad you got to try it! I do get sucked into the other brands when they come out with new colors (can't resist those displays at the drugstore!) but I always go back to this. I tried the Sally Hansen 3-in-1 and it didn't have the shine that this one does. It really looks like you put on a topcoat, and it lasts at least a week without chipping.

I love getting comments from you and hearing about your experiences with the products, whether you agree with me or not. It's the best way other readers can get the best information before they buy, so keep the comments coming! :)
