Sparkle & Shine Loose Glitter comes in eight stunning shades that will take your look from day to night in seconds flat and stay put until you take it off. The secret is in the primer...it comes in a little mascara-like tube, and it has a skinny little brush to apply the product to your eyelids.
You just paint on a thin layer and wait several seconds until it gets tacky. Then dip an eyeshadow brush (synthetic works best) into the glitter and pack it on to your eyelid (don't brush it back and forth....just pat!). This results in an incredibly intense glitter look that's not patchy at all!
I want to warn you...this process is a little bit messy. But the good news is, any glitter that's not held on with primer will dust off very easily. The only eye glitters I've tried in the past were those glitters that were suspended in gel and they didn't give great color payoff, were messy, went on patchy and wore off quickly. These are SO much better!
Each pot of glitter has a clear plastic insert so that when you open the cap, glitter doesn't spill everywhere. When you're ready to use it, just pop it out! It keeps things a bit neater so I definitely appreciate that.
Here's all the shades swatched on my arm over the glitter primer...they stick exactly where you paint the primer, so you'll want to try not to miss any spots or you'll have a gap. See how I didn't paint the primer down as far with the green and yellow shades? It takes a little practice (at least for me since I don't have much experience using glitters) but the end result is such a cool party look. They have such cute shade names too, like 'Murica, which is the perfect blue for the 4th of July, Tis the Season a beautiful red for the holidays, and Fat Tuesday, a stunning purple to wear for Mardi Gras.
