Profusion Absolute Face Palette Review

I've been so impressed with Profusion lately...even though I've been a fan of them for years, their newer products have just been wowing me lately. Two standouts that come to mind are the Studio Highlight Palette and the Make Me Blush set I found at Walgreens- they were both high-end quality at drugstore prices, which is what budget beauty bloggers like me live for!
So I was really excited when Profusion asked me to join their Insiders Program and even more excited when I got a huge box full of Profusion goodies just before Thanksgiving (in case you missed my photo of it on Instagram, here it is). Some of the products that were in the box are products I already own and have reviewed which means I'll be doing some giveaways for you guys...so stay tuned for that!
One of the products I couldn't wait to get my hands on and try was the Absolute Face Palette V2 ($12.49 at Profusioncosmetics.com) which has gotten a makeover for 2015 and contains everything you need in one kit for a flawless face! Let's take a look...

The Absolute Face Palette V2 comes in a hard plastic case that's perfect for travel. The only thing missing here is foundation and eye makeup! Inside you have both light and medium face powders, a highlight and contour shade, two blushes, two brow powders, two concealers, two cream correctors and four lip colors. Not to mention four brushes (which I likely wouldn't use on a regular basis, but it's nice to have them in case I didn't have my full size brushes for some reason).

Before I get into the shades, I want to point out that this palette is definitely made for those with fair, light or medium skin tones. I understand that it would be difficult to get shades to fit every skin tone into one palette, otherwise the palette would be huge!  But I would love to see Profusion come out with an Absolute Face Palette for Tan to Deep skin tones next.

The first section contains Light and Medium Face Powders (the light one suits me perfectly), a gorgeous Champagne Highlight, and a matte contour shade that's not too dark so it's great for light skin tones. The Nude Rose and Pink Peach blushes are also the perfect shades for lighter skintones and look really natural and pretty.

In the next section are the brow powders and concealers. The Taupe Brow Powder is a little bit cooler-toned and perfect for the color of my brows. The Dark Brown Brow Powder is a bit warmer and darker.
The concealers are a cream formula and offer medium coverage...they're not going to cover major dark circles but they're enough for me when it comes to everyday use. The Light concealer matches my skin tone well and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use the Beige concealer because it looked too dark. But when I swatched it, I realized that it looks a lot like the peachy-orange under eye correctors I have that help to cancel out dark circles, so I can definitely use it under foundation that way.

The last section contains two cream correctors...a green one for cancelling out redness (love these for around my nose) and a lilac one for cancelling yellow tones in your face (my skin is so pink-toned I don't really need this one).  There are also four lip colors.

Here's a close-up of the correctors...I was impressed by how much pigment they have! Sometimes color correctors are so barely-there I wonder if they will really cancel anything out, but these have enough color and coverage to do the job. When layered under foundation, the green one takes away all of the redness in my face...love!

I'm not usually a fan of using lip colors inside palettes, but I loved the almost gel-like consistency of these. They have great color payoff and a beautiful shine, sort of like a lipstick/gloss hybrid.
