Tyra Banks Launches a Makeup Line (and you can sell it too!)

Tyra Banks has just launched TYRA Beauty, a fierce new cosmetics line that has some cool 

innovative products. What's it all about?  I found this on the TYRA homepage: 

"We preach and teach the power of tooching booties, strutting thighs, posing tips, and smizing eyes.  We make you look and feel more beautiful than you ever thought possible! With my beauty secrets and secret beauty weapons, this cosmetics experience is all about Beauty. Business. Badassery."

All of the products are available now on Tyra's website, but starting soon, you can become a "Beautytainer" and own your own business selling the products through home or online parties. They educate all of their Beautytainers online through Tyra-U to give you all the tools you need to be successful.  If you're interested in applying to be a Beautytainer, click here for the application.

Now, on to the products!  They're a bit pricey, but quite a few of them are dual-purpose and there's a few really innovative products that made me say, "OK I need that!" 

First is the Smize category.  A "smize" is a "Fierce, sizzling eye expression, typically with the eyes squinting with maximim focus and intensity; the art of smiling with one's eyes."

There are two products:

Smack My Fat Lash Mascara, $28- "Most mascaras lengthen or thicken, but Smack My Fat Lash does both! This dual formula fuses blue volumizing and black extension technologies to create the fiercest black: Le Black. Go on, smack it!"

Oops Liner Eyeliner and Corrector, $26- "Tyra's got your back with Oops Liner: a double-sided pen with black liquid eyeliner on one side and eye makeup corrector on the other to clean up eyeliner mistakes and sharpen those wing tips." 

The next category is TyOver- "A Transformative Makeover, Tyra Style".  There are 5 products:

Sculpt in a Stick, $24- "Get sky-high cheekbones with Sculpt In a Stick! TY-Glide Technology takes the fear out of contouring with a silky smooth formula for easy blendability."

Light in a Stick, $26- "It’s time to highlight that beauty with Light in a Stick! TY-Glide Technology gives this highlighter a silky smooth application that makes your fiercest features sparkle."

Eyes in a Stick, $24-  "All eyes will be Smizing at yours when you’re rocking Eyes in a Stick! This glide-and-go shadow contains TY-Glide Technology for a smooth application with high blendability, no creasing and optimal playtime."

What Lipstick, $28-  "Wait, What Lipstick? That’s what you’ll be saying after applying this sheer, weightless, oh-so-luxurious lip color that goes on ever so smoothly – without using a mirror!"

Cheek in a Stick, $24-  "Blush it up with Cheek in a Stick! TY-Glide Technology delivers a super silky, super smooth application to give you a super sexified flush."

The last category, IT Factory has 2 products in it and is described as being "created with unique textures and innovative formulas, these products will leave you squealing with surprise and delight!"

Suede & Juicy Lip Color, $32-   "Two finishes, two looks, too fierce! The Suede side’s mousse texture gives your lips a wet, matte finish. The Juicy side delivers long-lasting ultra shine."

Lip Model, $24- "Never dull your shine for someone else. Instead, shine bright with Lip Model and its micro-mirror technology that will have you turning heads and dropping jaws."

I really want to try the Oops Liner, What Lipstick, and the Suede & Juicy Lipstick.  Oh, and the mascara because I'm a mascara junkie. There goes my beauty budget!
