Tony Moly Bbo Bbo Lip Balm Review

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Korean brand Tony Moly at Sephora. I know that Urban Outfitters has been selling it for a while, but sadly, I don't have an Urban Outfitters store near me. Unfortunately, Sephora only carries one product (for now), the adorable Bbo Bbo Lip Balm, but I bet they'll pick up more if this is popular! Take a look...

What it Is: A lip balm infused with either Honey or Blueberry extracts that comes in totally cute packaging.
What it Does: This light textured balm is super moisturizing and leaves your lips scented with either Honey or Blueberry fragrance.
What it Costs: $9
Where to Get It: Sephora stores and Sephora.com
Quick Rating: A good, solid lip balm with an irrisistable scent!

Since Sephora only carries one Tony Moly product, I found this near the cash register area where they have all the travel sizes. It comes in two scents, Blueberry and Honey. I chose Honey, which smells like actual honey (not someone's idea of a honey scent) with a hint of rose.
Bbo Bbo means "kiss" in Korean, so that's where the name comes from. The packaging in the shape of lips is just so adorable. It twists open easily to reveal the product inside. It's a very solid case and while it's larger than most lip balms, it's not overly big and it's definitely easier to find in my purse.
The balm itself is clear and lightweight, yet after wearing it for a while, my lips were so hydrated and smooth. It feels buttery as opposed to waxy and it's easy to pick up with either your finger (or a brush/q-tip for germaphobes like myself).
Overall, this is a good lip balm that really hydrates well. I'll be honest, it's not the absolute best lip balm I've ever tried (hello Bite Agave Lip Mask), but it's definitely up there with some of my favorites, plus the flavor and packaging give it an edge over some of the others that I like.

If you'd like to check this out, definitely visit Sephora or Sephora.com. It's rare to find things under $10 in there, so this was a great find. I'm hoping they'll get the rest of the Tony Moly line in stores as well as other Korean brands!
