Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer Review- In The Nude

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer ($5.99, Ulta) is a twist up liner with a built-in smudger that's great for use on the waterline. I have quite a few waterproof liners, but this one stuck out to me because they had a nude shade. I'd been hearing good things about Pixi Beauty's Eye Bright Liner ($12, Target) which is also nude, but I hadn't gotten around to purchasing it yet. Then I saw this one for $5.99 and thought it would be a great dupe at half the price! Take a look...

I've always read that putting white eyeliner on your waterline can make you look more awake and really brighten up your eyes. But every time I've tried it, it looked too severe and unnatural.  I like the idea of a nude pencil, because it does the same thing but is way more subtle.

This liner is soft and creamy and goes on the waterline easily with no tugging.  I apply it to both my top and bottom waterline and it definitely seems to make my eyes look wide open and less tired.

It's slightly darker than my natural skintone, but on my waterline, it cancels out any pink tones, which is exactly what I want it to do.
Overall, I really like this pencil and it saved me from spending $12 on Pixi's version.  I'm so glad I spotted this!  I'll add it to my Dupes Board on Pinterest.
Have you tried the nude eyeliner trick?

You can buy Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer at Target, CVS or Ulta.
