New Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Pro Glow Palette

Another day, another palette from Tarte!

Yesterday, they surprise-launched the new Tarteist Pro Palette, and this morning I woke up to an email about the new Tarteist Pro Glow Highlight & Contour Palette ($45). It contains 6 shades...5 powder and 1 cream in combination of highlight and contour shades.

I'm really liking the new black packaging of the Pro line, which is something very different for Tarte.
From the Tarte Website:

A highlight and contour palette with six pigmented powder and cream shades to create perfectly glowing, chiseled looks on every skin tone, without the icky, bad stuff.
Shades:
  • lit (champagne highlight)
  • strobe (pearl highlight)
  • fire (bronze highlight)
  • stunner (opalescent highlight)
  • shade (cream contour)
  • sculpt (powder contour)

  • Amazonian clay: nature’s most perfect ingredient for better, longer, truer wear
  • mineral pigments: soothe and soften skin
  • vanilla extract: a natural fragrance with rich antioxidant and anti-aging properties
  • coconut: delivers intense moisture and is known for its antibacterial and conditioning properties
  • vitamin E: a natural preservative that also works as an emollient and antioxidant
  • shea butter: a natural emollient known to help retain skin elasticity and protect against degeneration
Product performance: Inspired by makeup artist techniques, this highlight and contour palette helps you glow like a pro using healthy ingredients. Each carefully-selected shade has a rich, cool undertone to mimic real shadow and light reflection for the most natural look. The four intense highlighting powders deliver a buildable, micro-shimmer strobing effect, and the two universal, matte contouring shades add balanced dimension in cream and powder formulas that can be worn alone or layered. Powered by nutrient-rich Amazonian clay, each shade balances skin for the best payoff possible with no harsh lines and a longwearing finish.

I did order the Tarteist Pro eyeshadow palette yesterday but I don't know how I feel about this one yet...I think I'm going to wait until I see reviews first. I don't use contour palettes that often and most of the shades look like they're too deep for my skin tone. Plus I'm not really a fan of mixing creams and powders in the same compact.

What do you guys think about this one? Will you be purchasing it?

  1. Looking forward to your review!! I think it would be convenient to have both creams & powders in the same compact :) It looks like great palette, IF highlighters are not too dark/ drying/ powdery?
