This time of year, there are a zillion new product launches in the beauty world and I have so many things to review, I'm a little overwhelmed. So I thought I would leave it up to you to decide! That way, I'm sure to review things that everyone's interested in!

ReplyDeletePut in my vote! But I would like to say that I appreciate your thorough reviews in addition to spotting new items. I feel as though some other budget blogs have drastically reduced reviews which I find very essential for drugstore makeup since trying on in stores is not an option. Thank you for your work!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! That means a lot! This time of year is crazy with all of the new products coming out so it's hard to find the time to post "spotted" posts as well as reviews. And you're exactly right...not being able to try out drugstore products in the store is the main reason why I want to get reviews out as soon as possible. I know that readers will be trying to figure out what new products to buy and it doesn't help if I wait until the madness is over in February to start posting reviews. I've been doing this for 5 years now so I've just accepted the fact that starting in December I'll be working nonstop for a while, haha! :) In a way, it's exciting though- I'd much rather have a ton of things to write about than trying to think of things to review during the slower months.
DeleteI agree with DonM I follow Nouveau Cheap and she hasn't really posted a review in months, and the couple she did post were not even new products, they weren't really relevent to anything. I've found myself checking your site much more often because you post a mix of reviews and spotteds. I first found your blog because a good majority of the time you are the first person to post about new products and you're the only one in google when I'm searching. A lot of the bigger bloggers post pictures from readers or other bloggers and I love that you take the time to go to the drugstores and post the photos yourself. By doing that you usually have more information than the other bloggers so I want to thank you for that. You've gained a reader in me and I'm sure many others, keep up the great work!
