Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick Review & Swatches

Makeup Revolution's The One Blush Stick reminded me of Nars The Multiple as soon as I saw it on their website. At only $8.24 (vs. $39 for The Multiple), I just had to try them and see if they're a dupe (hint-one of them is an Orgasm dupe!).
For those of you who haven't heard of Makeup Revolution, they are a fairly new brand based in the UK that has famously duped the Urban Decay Naked Palettes (see my comparison posts Naked 2, Naked 3) and Too Faced Chocolate Bar, among others. They have drugstore prices but the quality is amazing!! The only downside is having to order online and wait the 8 days or so for overseas shipping. Otherwise, I have loved everything I've tried from them so far!

The One Blush Stick comes in 8 shades: 4 sheer and 4 matte. The packaging is sleek and high quality...they come in a black box with gold lettering and and the sticks themselves are black and gold.  The matte stick has a matte outside finish and the sheer stick has a glossy outside finish.
They're a nice large size, similar to The Multiple and will definitely last a long time! I purchased two shades, Matte Pink and Rush.

The color payoff on the mattes is incredible! The sheers are supposed to be sheer so I didn't expect them to be as bold. They are both soft and creamy and glide across the skin easily.
As soon as I swatched Rush, I realized that it looked like the Nars Orgasm Multiple, so I swatched them side by side to compare.
Orgasm is on the left, and Rush on the right. As you can see, they are both shimmery peachy-pinks and total dupes!

These can be worn on your lips and cheeks.  After trying a similar product from Elf (the All Over Color Stick), I was afraid that it would be drying on my lips, but it felt very smooth and creamy.  The Matte Pink shade lasted longer than the sheerer Rush because it stained my lips a bit.  Rush was gone from my lips within an hour or two, leaving just the shimmer behind but stayed on my cheeks longer. Matte Pink was still on my lips several hours later and was more of a slow fade.

Overall, I'm loving these!  They're absolutely perfect for cheeks since they're long lasting and nicely pigmented.  I wasn't as impressed with the wear time on lips, but I loved the way the colors looked and that they felt comfortable and non-drying.  Plus, I love that Rush is an Orgasm dupe because these are so much cheaper and Orgasm is one of my all-time favorite blush shades!
