NYX Suede Palette Swatches and Review

Back in June, NYX released the Suede Palette ($12), along with a bunch of new products.  I hauled a few things, but later regretted not including this palette because I hate ordering online (I'm super impatient) and really didn't want to have to make a separate order for this. But, as luck would have it, my local Bed, Bath and Beyond just started carrying NYX so as soon as I spotted this, I knew it was meant to be mine.

Description:
"The next generation of our richest jewel-inspired shadows has arrived. NYX Makeup Suede Color Palette is the ultimate arsenal of shadows sparkle, shimmer and illuminate with gorgeous results."

Packaging:
This palette comes in a flat, easy to store cardboard compact that shows the shades right through the front window. Each eyeshadow pan is pretty large so you're getting a lot of shadow for the price.
The colors are gorgeous, and perfect for fall! They're warm, rich neutrals with the exception of the teal shade on the bottom row, but it's not a bright summery teal, rather it's a nice smoky shade that would make a killer smoky eye that's unexpected.

Formula:
These shadows are soft and nicely pigmented without a lot of fallout. The first four swatches below are the top row and the last four are the bottom row.

So what do you think of the Suede palette? Would you buy it for fall?

You can purchase the NYX Suede Palette at your local Bed, Bath and Beyond, Harmon Discount, Ulta, or at NYXCosmetics.com.
