I absolutely loved the foundation and this concealer doesn't disappoint either.
It comes in a clear tube so you can see the shade, which I like. I was able to hold it up to my arm and see which one came closest to my skin. I chose Fair, which is the lightest shade and I could have gone with Light which is the next shade up, but I like my concealer to be a little lighter to brighten the under eye area more.
It comes with a standard doe-foot applicator. I found the consistency to be light, thin and easy to blend. A thin formula means it doesn't cake under the eyes which is a good thing, but it also tends to mean less coverage. I found that this gave decent coverage for me, but if you have dark circles that are anything but mild you won't find this to be enough coverage.
Here are CoverGirl's claims and my thoughts on each:
- Lightweight formula blends easily- Yes!
- Easy to apply and lasts all day- Yes, definitely easy to apply. It lasted for hours from what I could tell but I don't know about all day.
- Oil free, won't clog pores- Yes, I had no problems or breakouts after using this. Love that its unscented too!
Have you tried the Ready Set Gorgeous line? What do you think of it?
