Q-tips Precision Tips Review

Growing up, we always had Q-tips in the house, and as I got older, I continued to use them mostly for beauty-related tasks, such as cleaning up the mascara residue under my eyes that my cleanser didn't completely remove.  I know I write about beauty products a lot, but I realized that I rarely talk about my favorite beauty tools.
Well, recently, I tried Q-tips Precision Tips, and I am hooked!  Even though my husband still uses the regular kind, I plan on keeping a box of Precision Tips at my sink in the bathroom.
Precision Tips are tapered at both ends, so they can get into tiny creases, like the corners of your eyes for makeup removal or application.  I've been using them to trace around my nails with nail polish remover after applying polish to get any that might have gotten on my skin.  They're also great for smudging and blending eye shadow and eyeliner, due to their pointed tip- you can get things much more precise than using a brush. I also use them to apply lip balms from pots, since I never want to dip my fingers in them for sanitary reasons.  Same thing with eye cream- it's better to use a clean applicator each time to avoid contaminating the product, and these are inexpensive and disposable. There are really endless uses for them when it comes to makeup, and they're really soft and gentle on your face.  I also love that they are disposable

The Q-tips Tip Jar has a ton of tricks and uses for using Q-tips in your beauty routine, so definitely check that out!

What do you use Q-tips for?

  1. These look great, but I prefer using Studio Basics Dual-Tip Paddle / Point Applicators bec you get the precision tip on one side & the flat paddle side on the other which are awesome for a ton of uses! You should check it out sometime :) http://www.drugstore.com/studio-basics-dual-tip-paddle-point-applicators/qxp91678
