Bonne Bell Eye Mascara Review

Bonne Bell Eye Mascara ($3.50) is an affordable formula that gives an amazingly natural result.  Take a look!

It comes in a basic yet very sleek black tube that's not too chunky- it's easily portable in a purse or clutch.

The brush is on the smaller side, great for grabbing each lash and really getting into the roots to coat each lash evenly. It tapers at each end and is wider in the middle.

I typically go for mascaras that make my lashes look more dramatic, like I'm wearing falsies, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It didn't really add volume, but it added a lot of length and definition. As I was building up the coats (I did 3 or 4) I noticed that it wasn't getting clumpy or sticky at all like most mascaras do.  When I was finished, I realized they looked like my-lashes-but-better and they felt so soft and feathery!  It didn't feel like I even had mascara on at all, yet they looked longer and more defined.  I don't think I've ever used a mascara that went on so clean, in such a thin, undetectable layer!

Overall, I think that this is an excellent choice for an everyday mascara. The other more dramatic formulas I use on a daily basis make my lashes look huge and amazing, but it's obvious that I'm wearing mascara. With this, I feel like I have nice long lashes, but people won't look at them and see the mascara- it looks that natural.
If you have very thin or sparse lashes, this may not be enough of a boost for you.  I find that it takes my average length lashes to that next level, and if you already have long lashes you'll love this too.
I haven't seen this in stores near me, and if you can't find it near you, you can order it through Bonne Bell directly for $3.50.

Bonne Bell Lip Lites Review Strawberry Parfait and Cappuccino

 Lip Lites come in long narrow see-through tubes with a doe-foot applicator inside.

 Strawberry Parfait smells like a strawberry milkshake and has a non-shimmery, almost milky appearance that reminds me of Nars Turkish Delight. A quick Google search turned up a ton of comparisons between the two so I guess I'm not the only one who thought this was a dupe. It goes on pale pink and it feels so moisturizing on the lips. I'm not sure I'd call it a liquid lipstick since it's a bit more see-through like a gloss, but I love the color and the fact that it has no shimmer.

Cappuccino has a sweet, mocha flavor that's amazing! I kept reapplying this all day because it smelled so good! On my already pale lips, this just gave some shine and a bare hint of color, but those with pigmented lips might like that this will create a nice nude look.

Here are the swatches. These go on very shiny and while they don't have a ton of staying power, they're fun to reapply!

Bonne Bell Glimmer Bronze Review

Bonne Bell Glimmer Bronze is a fine loose powder that can be used so many different ways. Check it out...

 It comes in a jar with a sifter top and is a bronze powder with a shimmery finish. You can use it to highlight pretty much anywhere- eyes, cheekbones, shoulders, even all over the body. It gives a beautiful glow that's not too shimmery.

Here's a swatch that's really concentrated so you could see the color well on camera. This is great for any skin tone, even fair, because its not too orange or really dark. On darker skin, this would be a pretty highlight and on paler skin, it gives a touch of bronze also.

Bonne Bell Blend 'N Glow Review and Giveaway

Bonne Bell Blend 'N Glow is a silky, multipurpose powder designed to give you a beautiful healthy glow. I honestly can't believe I haven't tried it before now- I've been missing out!

I received the shade Natural Blush but there is also a more bronzy shade called Sun Kissed.

 I call this a multipurpose powder because you can use it so many ways! My favorite is to swirl a big fluffy brush through all four colors and hit my temples, cheeks, nose, shoulders, and collarbones with it. It imparts a subtle, satiny pearl finish that's not sparkly. You can also use the other shades individually, for example you can dip a smaller brush into the lightest color and use it to highlight the cheekbones, inner corners of the eyes or cupids bow. Or use the darker pinky shades on the cheeks as blush.

The powder is super soft and leaves a silky finish to the skin that feels so nice! I'm not normally a powder person since I have dry skin but this doesn't look cakey or make my skin feel or look drier at all. It just controls shine (and excess oil if you're oily) and leaves behind a radiant ethereal glow!

Here's a close-up look at the colors. This is the perfect combination to mimic a natural skin tone. It's not just brown like a bronzer, it has a bit of beige and a bit of pink and all these tones together make it look so natural.

Here's what all the shades look like blended together. I swirled my finger around the palette and this is the result. This will look amazing on any skin tone but it's especially good if you're pale and tend to shy away from bronzers. It adds just the barest hint of color and a soft-focus glow.

There are products out there that claim to add a radiance to your skin, but this has the best finish of any I've tried- at any price! You can pick this up at Walmart or Kmart for under $4, which is an amazing price for this. It's definitely reached HG status for me already.

Bonne Bell Lip Lacquer Review and Swatches Bellini and Champagne

Bonne Bell Gel Bronze Review and Swatches

Recently Bonne Bell was kind enough to send me a box full of goodies to try, and rather than make one large post, I plan on reviewing each product separately so I can really give detailed reviews on each.  The first product I wanted to review is the Gel Bronze in Golden Tan.  I was immediately drawn to it as soon as I saw it, because it's something I remember from my Jr. High years in the early 1990's- I used it constantly back then. This product has been around a long time, and it's seen some packaging changes since then.  The tube is sleek and more grown-up looking.
