2016 Holiday Gift Guide- Bath & Body Products

Bath & Body products are always popular gift ideas...what girl doesn't love a good scrub and body butter right? I've rounded up a few of my favorites that I already have in my rotation (so I can vouch for how well they work!) and they're at all different price points depending on what you're looking to spend.

1. Lalicious Bath and Body- For a luxurious bath experience these are my go-to products! The Extraordinary Whipped Sugar Scrub ($35) is really unique (it's a "drier" scrub without the layer of oil you have to mix in)...it gets my skin super smooth! I'm also obsessed with the Shower Oil & Bubble Bath ($28)- I have it in four different scents. It's not runny like other shower oils...it's really thick and lathers up so well, yet leaves your skin baby soft. Their Body Butter ($26.50) is also fantastic! It sinks in right away and doesn't leave any residue. My favorite scent is probably Sugar Kiss (it smells a bit like "Pink Sugar"), but I also love the Sugar Lavender, Sugar Coconut, and Brown Sugar Vanilla scents. They also have cute little sets on their website if you want to try some products without the commitment of the larger sizes.

2. Kiehl's Grapefruit Body Care Duo ($24)- If you've never tried Kiehl's Creme de Corps Body Butter, you're in for a treat (there's a reason it has such a cult following!). It's been one of my go-to body butters for years and it's helped my dry skin so much, especially in the winter. This little set includes the Grapefruit version along with the Grapefruit Body scrub and comes in a really cute gift tin. This set already sold out on the Kiehl's website and is getting harder to find so if you want this don't wait! It's a great way to try two of the brand's best-sellers without breaking the bank.

3. The Body Shop Blissful Spa of the World Gift Set ($49)- The Body Shop's Spa of the World products launched earlier this year and they are made with ingredients that are sourced from all over the world via fair trade programs. This set includes the Brazilian Cupuacu Scrub-in-Oil and the Hawaiian Kukui Body Cream, both of which are favorites of mine! I love The Body Shop's products in general but these take it up another notch and feel (and smell) so luxurious.

This set is also included in The Body Shop's program to help endangered animals and save the rainforests (more about that program here), so with every purchase of this set (and all of the gifts on this list), the Body Shop will restore 1 square meter of rainforest and help endangered animals. Definitely a worthwhile cause!

4. Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub and Body Butter ($7.69 each)- Tree Hut scrubs and body butters are among my absolute favorites and they're so inexpensive! I've been using them for over 10 years and I keep repurchasing because they work. In fact, they're comparable to some of my higher-end products which makes them even more impressive (just take a look at the reviews on Ulta.com). They have several different scents to choose from...I love the Moroccan Rose and Hawaiian Kukui but they all smell pretty great.

5. Soap & Glory Breakfast Scrub ($15), Body Buttercream ($15), and Rich & Foamous Body Wash ($10)- These are usually in my daily rotation and I particularly like to use them when I shower at night because the almond, milk, and honey scents are so soft and comforting and put me in the mood to sleep. The Breakfast Scrub is one of the most effective scrubs I've ever used (next to the Lalicious one) and it makes my skin feel like silk. I'm also obsessed with the Body Buttercream because even if my skin is extra dry I wake up to soft, smooth skin after using this. It even heals the skin on my knees, elbows and feet which is amazing because it's not as thick as products that are usually meant for those areas.

Well that's about it! No matter who you're shopping for, I know that the women in your life will be happy with any of these products, no matter how much you spend...they're all tried and true favorites of mine and they all really work well.

  1. Thank you for sharing, I love this gift guide! I appreciate you taking the time to suggest products you had already tried rather than a collection of random gift sets as many other bloggers do. I remember you talking about some of these products on your blog before and I'm grateful for the reminder! When you reviewed Lalicious back in the summer I made a mental note to remember them when I wanted to buy Christmas gifts, then I forgot. I plan to get the shower oil and scrubs for my sister-in-law and best friend. I think they'll be very happy, especially because it's a brand they haven't heard of. I get tired of gifting BBW after a while!

    1. Ditto to this ^^^. You're one of the most genuine bloggers out there. Even if I disagree with your thoughts on a product I know you honestly feel the way you do. It shows that you're really a beauty junkie at heart and not doing it for the free products. Will you be doing more gift guides? They really are a good reminder of things you've talked about in the past that we may have forgotten about.

  2. Great list! I really want to check out the Body Shop's offerings. I love what they're doing with the rainforest and endangered animals and if I'm going to spend the money I want it to go toward something meaningful, particularly during the season of giving!

  3. I haven't tried the others but completely agree on your Soap and Glory and Tree Hut picks. I've grabbed the same items from both brands over the past year at Ulta and they are soooo good. I also love the Moroccan Rose scent from Tree Hut and purchased it after hearing EmilyNoel83 rave about it on YouTube. I don't like rose scents but it hardly smells like rose, it's more of a warm type of fragrance.

I love getting comments from you and hearing about your experiences with the products, whether you agree with me or not. It's the best way other readers can get the best information before they buy, so keep the comments coming! :)
