Today's Ulta Haul

It's tough living 45 minutes from the nearest Ulta store. I'm always hoping they'll put one in my local area but for now, I have to deal with going once every couple of months. It's been waaay too long, so I convinced my husband to go with me today (he's such a good sport!). During today's trip, I ended up getting all brand new products and and I'm so excited to try them all! Let's take a look...
ulta haul

1. Nyx Strobe of Genius Palette ($18.99)- Last time I went to Ulta they were all sold out of this palette and today I ended up getting the last one in the display. I'm so excited to try this because I've heard great things about it!
2. Living Proof Timeless Pre Shampoo Treatment ($10 for 2oz)- Timeless is Living Proof's new line for "aging" hair. At 38 years old, my hair is definitely thinner and duller than it used to be so I'm really interested to see how this line works. I decided to start with the Pre Shampoo Treatment, which can be used 5-10 minutes before shampooing or even the night before like an overnight mask. If I like it, I'll probably spring for the shampoo and conditioner next.
3. Laura Geller Baked Radiant Setting Powder ($32)- Color correcting products are huge right now, and I spotted this finishing powder that contains all different colored pigments in one compact on a big display in the middle of the aisle. I tried a bit of the tester on my hand and was impressed by how it added a beautiful radiant glow to my skin, like it was lit from within. I can't wait to try it, especially as an under eye setting powder!
4. Kardashian Beauty Hair Shampoo & Conditioner (not yet online)- I'm not a big Kardashian fan but I have to admit that their hair styling products are pretty amazing (they're made by Farouk...same company that makes CHI and Biosilk). I've been hoping they would add a shampoo and conditioner to the line so when I saw these, I couldn't resist!  Fingers crossed they are as great as the styling products!
5. IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara ($24)- I'm such a big fan of IT Cosmetics...they rarely make a product I don't like and their Hello Lashes is one of my favorite mascaras ever. So it was only natural that I pick their newest formula to try!

What was in your latest Ulta haul? I'd also love to know which of these products you'd like to see me review! Drop me a comment and let me know! :)

  1. You got some great stuff! I'd love to see swatches of the NYX Strobe of Genius palette. I'm debating whether or not to get it and my local Ulta is completely sold out so I'll have to order it online. I also think that Laura Geller powder looks interesting- and it has great reviews on Ulta's website. I'd love to hear what you think of that one too.

  3. I want to try a color corrector as well. Any suggestions as to what will work well to cover blemishes and minor dark circles without causing breakouts (non comedogenic is a must). Thanks

  4. A week ago I saw that my Ulta had moved the Makeup Revolution display, plus the display unit was bigger with space for more products...one of which was the New-trals vs. Neutrals palette! I'm hoping by now it's actually there!
I'll be interested to hear about that setting powder and mascara.

    1. Yay! I'm so glad Makeup Revolution is expanding in Ulta. Some of their best products aren't carried there right now so I hope they eventually bring everything over!

    1. You're right, maybe its better that I don't have one near me or I'd be in there all the time. I'm sure my husband prays that they won't build one here, lol!
