The Disney Villains makeup collection has arrived at Walgreens, and with Halloween right around the corner, it's the perfect time to launch some badass beauty products featuring the Evil Queen, Ursula, and Maleficent. There are beauty books, a Maleficent contour palette and more, but the first thing that jumped out at me was the Evil Queen's Jealous Blush ($3.50 at Walgreens stores or at Drugstore.com) because it looks a heck of a lot like Nars Orgasm. Let's take a closer look...
The packaging is well-suited to a villain...black with medieval-style lettering in dark red.
The compact has Snow White's nemesis on the cover looking just as pissed off as ever because she's not the fairest of them all. It's really cute packaging and the size is really generous at .29 oz (almost double the size of Nars Orgasm which is .16 oz).
Inside, the blush is a beautiful pinky peach with golden shimmer...universally flattering!
The texture is very soft and easy to pick up with a brush and blend. The pigmentation is fantastic as well. I've been wearing this the last few days and it's long-lasting on my skin which I wasn't expecting (but am really happy about!).
Overall, this is a short little mini-review, but if you're looking for a really inexpensive pinky peach blush (or you're a collector of all things Disney), Jealous is a great pick! I'm actually surprised to see this going for $9 or $10 on Ebay considering Drugstore.com still has it in stock for $3.50. Still, this is a limited edition, so if you don't want to miss it and end up paying a premium on Ebay, head on over to your local Walgreens before they disappear (or grab one at Drugstore.com).
I need this in my life!
ReplyDeleteI know right? It was definitely a must-have for me. :)
DeleteMe too! I'm obsessed with everything Disney and I love that they did the villains this time!
ReplyDeleteSame here, it changes things up a little bit! :)
DeleteI might just have to pick it up for the packaging! It's also a pretty shade, win - win!
ReplyDeleteTotally! I loved the packaging too and it was hard to see the shade clearly in the store but once I got it home...wow!
