Luxury Parisian haircare brand Dessange has teamed up with Target and created an affordable line with 14 products to be sold at Target stores and Target.com! A few facts I learned about this brand...Dessange is the official partner of the Cannes film festival, has been around for 60 years, and Jacques Dessange is credited with creating Bridget Bardot's famous 'do!
The products created for Target is divided into four different collections, which I'll go into more below. They range in price from $9.99 to $11.99.
Here are the four collections and descriptions:
California Blonde Collection:
The ultimate blonde collection, California Blonde includes an Illuminating Shampoo and Conditioner, $9.99 each, aimed at moisturizing your hair while protecting color.
Dessange also created a weekly in-shower treatment,Brass Color Correcting Crème, $11.99, formulated with blue pigments to keep brassiness at bay. Plus, an Illuminating Elixer, $11.99, for an added boost of shine.
Solar Blonde Collection:
Solar Blonde keeps blonde hair color fresh with a Lightening Shampoo and Conditioner, each $9.99. The collection also includes a Lightening Gelée, $11.99, that lets you comb in highlights for a sun-kissed look. Or spritz in the Lightening Sun Spray, $11.99, before a day outdoors for hair like Grace Kelly's after a day on the French Riviera.
Oleo Miracle Collection:
The Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner, $9.99 each, help repair over-processed and heat damaged hair with a blend of argan, camelia and pracaxi oils. The leave-in Replenishing Oil, $11.99, includes the same powerful oils to protect while styling and add shine.
Salon Color Restore Collection:
For long-lasting color, regardless of whether you're a shade of warm chestnut or icy blonde, the Color Protecting Shampoo and Conditioner, $9.99 each, work to help restore the hair fiber and add shine. Finish with the Top Coat Serum, $11.99, which contains color preserving antioxidants and vitamin B5.
I'm most excited about the Solar Blonde Collection, but they all look amazing! I currently use John Frieda's Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner plus the Go Blonder spray (or Marc Anthony Easy Lites) to lighten my hair since my scalp is sensitive to dyes. I bought the Dessange Solar Blonde shampoo and conditioner and I also bought the Lightening Gelee, which I'm hoping is like John Frieda's Beach Blonde streaks that was discontinued years ago but I loved so much! This version has a comb to help you control where it goes, so I'll be doing my roots with it, and of course I'll let you know how it goes!
I don't know where to get these in Australia... Please HELP!
ReplyDeleteDon't bother- they're terrible! And costly. The shampoos dry out the hair terribly, while the conditioners are difficult to rinse out and leave greasy feel. You'd be better off buying Suave hair products. They're great quality for a lot less money, rinse clean, and leave no waxy feel behind.
