I don't know about you guys, but my eyeshadow is usually the first thing to fade on my face. I look in the mirror at lunchtime and it's just gone! So when I saw that Revlon's Colorstay Eyeshadow promises to stay on for 12 hours, I was compelled to try it out!
I chose the 4-color palette in Coffee Bean (pictured), which was $6.99 at Walgreens. I liked the range of colors- a creamy nude, dusty pebble, shimmery copper and a chocolate brown. These shadows have a bit more pigment than I've seen in other drugstore brands, so that's awesome. As far as lasting for 12 hours? Mmm, not exactly- maybe 10 hours. But I will say, my shadow was still holding firm at lunchtime, and was still there when I got home from work, although it was a bit lighter than when I first applied it. 2 hours after I got home, it had pretty much faded into nothingness, the darkest chocolate color barely holding on. But so far, these shadows are the only ones I've tried that last through the workday, so they are great in my book! Has anyone out there tried these? I'm thinking that using an eyeshadow primer will help them last the full 12 hours!
